I really appreciate your comments regarding the fallacy Korihor brings up regarding “survival of the fittest”. I think you’re both correct in saying that Korihor was attacking moral law as well as introducing the law of the jungle.

A former missionary who served in our ward is now a very vocal Korihor, so sad. Never thought of it this way.

I did have someone that told me how stupid I was for what I believed . Supposedly Joseph Smith was no prophet. He stold the papers and wanted to set up his own church. I kicked out this person . I choose. I love the book of Mormon. No matter what anyone says to me they can not dispute that the book of Mormon is a record of people on this continent. That fact can never be disproved. Life is hard enough but I would never want to something on purpose that would disappoint my father. My heavenly father or my earthly father.

Also, I would encourage anyone wanting to learn more about organic chemistry to learn about Dr. James Tour, a gifted organic chemist working out of Rice University, also a Messianic Jew, who is highly skeptical of the theory of evolution - not because his belief in Jesus Christ would falter - but because his work in nanotechnology as a chemist and his study of origin-of-life theories/science (a science that has not progressed in 60 years), and in all of his studies has yet to see a mechanism for jumps between species. Also, if one begins a study into The Electric Universe Theory, (a hotly debated theory), but a theory supported by scientists across the disciplines, it blows all of the big-bang theory (including a multiverse, String theory, etc) out of the water. And, in my humble layperson opinion, if you study the electric universe theory in-depth, to me, it fits Abrahamic astronomy from the Pearl of Great Price perfectly. Take all of that with a grain of salt. I would also suggest folks to consider the banned Ted Talk by Dr. Rupert Sheldrake where he breaks down the 9 dogmas of modern science and wrote a book, “Science Set Free”, essentially, a response to Dawkins’ book, The God Delusion”. Fascinating stuff.
