Puma Deviate Nitro 2 vs NB More v4, which one has better cushion? Btw, do you feel the carbon plate in puma deviate nitro 2 a little bit stiff in the forefoot? I have heard someone complaining that it caused some pain in the foot when they run slowly with the shoes.
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES Год назад
I still think the NB More v4 has the edge in cushioning due to the bigger stack of foam in that midsole. The Fresh Foam X might not be as responsive as the one in Puma with the carbon plate... But still does a good job and I still prefer it in the end. About Puma's carbon plate... I can't say I notice it while I was filming... But it might be true... After some use, things might change once the foam takes the shape of the feet. Maybe someone else can say more about them, if it happens to have them in his/hers collection.

Just got my second pair of Puma Velocity Nitro 2 online.The left shoe is 15 grams heavier than the right shoe😂.So I agree with you that it is better to buy from the physical store incase of Puma.
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES Год назад
Yeah, that's why I prefer to check the weight on both of them... Because sometimes they say that they have "X" weight but, is it really true? :) About those 15g difference that you have... is quite big difference in between them to have... I'm guessing you have a larger size shoe in general?! That might be an explanation, having a bigger margin of error... in big sizes. Normally, in my case I've seen a maximum +/-5g difference or so... Buying them in a store can bring benefits when your not sure about the model you will like to have next... Being plenty of them to choose. If is for you the one you liked and of course to check the quality, and not just accept everything that they want to get rid off, from the physical stores.

Hi there, I really can't choose sizes for you guys. The shape of the feet always is so different because of the arch, bones structure also, even ethnic sometimes... so I really don't know. Even in between me and my closest family members (father, brother etc) are big difference in sizes and shape of our feet ( and arches too), so it will be almost impossible to guess correctly for a complete stranger. Plus the comfort will differ because of the shape of the toes, width of the feet, arches and even personal taste in footwear. Some will like more "relaxed fit" (like I usually do) and others will like them to fit like "a glove" on their feet. I do recommend to try few pairs in any brand not just Puma models in a physical store (even maybe if they aren't these ones) write all the info in your phone, or maybe email yourself with a easy title to remember in the future or somewhere else, keep that file as a guide and then search in "safe places" to actually put an order at a good price and decide yourself what size YOU have in that particular brand in general. If you are in between sizes go size up if you like and control the fit with the lacing system. Use for example the time when you are in vacation and you have plenty of time, or maybe if you have to wait your flight in an airport and you see a running sneakers store in that area... Use "that time" to do what I've just said in an useful way (this way) and test as much variety as you can, all the brands that you find, even the ones that maybe you don't know them just yet or you never had interest in them so far, because at some point in your life you might find something interesting in their future models. That will be my suggestion for all of my viewers. I'm sorry that I can't be more useful but, is too complicated to guess what size are your feet.

Hello :D is the puma bouncier than the novablast 3?
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES Год назад
Hi, If I remember well, they are about the same. Novablast 3 having a bigger stack, that makes them just about equal "in bounce" even though the Asics foam is not that bouncier/responsive... like we see in Puma. Puma, overall feels quicker. I haven't test it them outside but, that was me my sensation with them on my feet. Nike Fly 5 is closer to Novablast 3 in bounce and cushioning, but I prefer how is made Puma (the shape, materials etc). None of them are perfect and because of that, I recommend you trying them in a dedicated running sneakers store, where they have both and decide which one is for you (if is possible, of course). I hope this help you somehow!

Which puma is good for wide feet with overprotantion?
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES 3 месяца назад
My feet are neutral, for overpronation I don't have enough experience to guide you. BUT... With a quick search with these words on Puma's website you will find probably what you are looking for: "Stability Running Shoes" I got 13 results as right now (here in Spain)... it depends though of what they have on stock in your size (in your country). I hope this is helpful somehow!

3:26 You said that Puma is wider in the toe box? Are you sure? Because i heard 2 others say its tighter in the toe box.
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES Год назад
Lol, "the 2 others" have MY feet??? They did the rest of !MY +150 videos from this channel too" ?! Than... irrelevant! Just saying... for ME ARE wider... for others... God knows... Depending were in world they live, they can have different kind of feet. I do show mines in these videos... At least you can see how they are. And they are "regular width". IF I still have half of my big thumb extra space in that toe box, for me that is pretty "extra free space" in this particular Puma model. Compared with Adidas and even some NB models, they are more roomy. Although for ME is NOT TOO roomy to think that I should avoid them. PS: By coincidence a familiar (female this time) recently buyed a different model from Puma of her "tts size in sneakers" and said that the normal size was too big for her feet (she is around 50 years old) and she has to go -0.5 size down in order to fit correctly... Now till you don't try something with your own feet you won't know if is good or not for YOU. Others... might say anything they want... but the feet aren't the same, the age also, the ethnic also, and so on... I hope you get my POV...

@@EasyLifeES *I get your POV. Bottomline is everyones foot is unique and as individual as a persons finger print. This being said. Its just best try size on and see how it feels. And even though its a hassle when doing this if your like me who buy online only and cant try on in store. Its just trial and error and buy and return until i find the correct fit. If i was rich i would just buy the size i think should fit me, and then also buy one size up and one size down. So 3 pairs of shoes buy at the same time and try all them on and return the 2. that dont fit. But most cant do this. So its just very frustrating to buy one at a time. And one would have to possible return the correct size for them just to make sure for sure the other sizes are not right for them or not. Purchasing shoes is actually very complicated now days sometimes.

@@johndoe3485 About buying one particular model... sometimes I have to simply SKIP IT (although maybe I like it how it looks), just because it doesn't fit me as I need. Not always I will recommend to size up or down (depending how are the feet). They are times when "that" is not the answer. I can understand that not all the footwear is mented to fit all of us (myself included). They are sneakers made for those that have flat feet (or better said, extremely low arches), they are sneakers made narrower than normal like (Adidas UB 1 & 5 for example), some they are made for a specific pronation (not being neutral) and so on. Because of all those things and some more I won't force my feet to "like" any sneakers that I try. Some they will stay in my closed and others won't get in. And I'm fine with that... they are enough made to fit everyone, we just need to know well our feet, in order to find the correct ones for us. BUT it true that depending where we live in the world that can be more challenging at times for some of us (not all the countries will have available all the brands and all models).

Is puma runs same as pegasus length wise?
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES 9 месяцев назад
At 00:30 you have the answer (and in few other places in the same video). Still... I will write it here (again)... Puma = US 8.5 (ES 41) Nike = US 8 (ES 41)

I really wanted to like the Puma Deviate Nitro 2 but it does not work for my wide-ish feet. It is a great running shoe overall. Outsole is great. The midsole is great, the upper is great... but so damn narrow. Even the wide version is narrower than most other shoes in regular width. Such a shame.
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES Год назад
377484_01 - for example is a WIDE version, for me even the REGULAR was quite roomy for my feet (19:25, 22:26). That's why I recommend everyone to try them in a store (IF they can) just to be sure how they fit for them. In your case probably an X-WIDE would had been great.
@MrFerisko
@MrFerisko Год назад
@@EasyLifeES My feet are text book 2E (wide). The thing with the "wide" version of these Pumas is, they are 1,5cm narrower than NB 1080v12 in 2E (wide) in the same size. In fact they are narrower than Asics Novablast 3 (regular width) in the same size. Wide (2E) and Extra Wide (4E) are not some random labels. Just like it is expected a shoe size 43 to be certain length, +/- a bit. You also expect a 2E (wide) shoe to be a certain width. +/- a bit. Unfortunately, the in store availability of wide shoes to try on is generally very poor with few exceptions. And puma does not even sell these in x-wide. At least not in Europe. Anyway, my point is that in the regular width these Pumas are really narrow (C), and in "wide" they are in reality regular width. Definitely not 2E, barely a D width.
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES Год назад
Obviously I don't have WIDE feet and I can't say much more about the subject, because you have a better experience with the matter and you understand more than me the differences... The only good thing in this situation is that "maybe" someone else will find your comment useful and it will avoid a bad shopping experience. Thanks for sharing here your thoughts!
