@EasyLifeES 2 месяца назад
Hi there, Probably they will be durable enough (except maybe if they have visual defects, be sure you check them well to spot eventual issues before you take them somewhere outside especially when has a lower price than normal). If you decide yourself for them, I recommend to start looking for softer & thicker insoles. Those will protect your joints quite a bit in long runs, because the cushioning in this model is really "in small amounts" (thin firm midsoles in them). For light running, they are OK enough for the price, but for anything more than 10 km in just one run... buy something better honestly (IMHO). That is the reason WHY we normally care (quite a bit) to have good and softer cushioning in them. All of us want economic and high performance... I'm afraid that so far I haven't seen a shoe with really low price but good for marathons. In other words: Light running = good enough. For more than that... add more money... is simply as that. My best advice is to look for outlet sneakers. "Pro sneakers" from other seasons will still be a Pro sneaker... only maybe not the latest & the greatest, but better performance than a regular one from this year... for sure. If you "look well" on internet, you might be able find good stuff at reasonable prices... if you have enough patience. I hope this reply helps you somehow!

@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES 23 дня назад
I wouldn't worry too much just by checking the size guide that is on their webpage. Those values aren't always accurate and the shape of the models can be very different sometimes. So... wait to arrive, use them for 10 minutes straight (somewhere indoors, on a clean carpet) to see well how they fit to your feet with the socks that you are planning to use them. If they don't have pressure points after 10 minutes of use, I believe a 95% that they will be good in the future too. Be sure to secure them well in your feet with the lacing system, in order to discover possible flaws. Not only the size can be sometimes a problem. The width is also very important, the materials, the cage and the contact with the instep, the tongue to be wide enough to cover the entire instep and so on.

Small question, do you think this one is better than the adidas switch running?
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES 2 месяца назад
I never tried those adidas switch but just by checking that outsole... I know that it will be something to avoid... Too much exposed foam in that outsole plus the shape of that outsole will possibly collect stones while you are running, that for me is something unacceptable. Now it's up to you which one to choose. For me Galaxy 6 is still better made.

Adidas showtheway 2.0 is ok to buy, which color you prefer
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES 2 месяца назад
I'm not familiar with that particular model, yet in general I prefer black because it goes with kinda everything we wear... UNLESS where you live you have outside often 40ºC/104ºF, that will be my go to color. Because usually LESS is more... If outside is really hot climate, I tend to go to grey or green color (my NB More V4 has a dark grey color because of that). Those colors deal little bit better with the heat/sun. Bright colors look good only in special matched outfits, otherwise end up looking off if the outfit has itself other bright colors that are different than the footwear. Plus really bright colors don't protect well against the UV rays. They help with the heat but the UV's... I guess is up to you how you mix and match everything, without ending up looking FLASHY. That is something to avoid... IMHO.

Honestly both sneakers are good in that particular price range. Depending how much you want to spend you get one or the other. Comparing with the sneakers that were in the past both are more than capable. Usually if you have overweight or you run longer distances is more convenient to have some extra cushioning. Although in my opinion Adidas Response is the better buy if I have to pick just one right now.

The Adidas Response (IG1417) seen in Ep142. That one was one of my favorites this year and little bit better than everything else for me, especially for his price... 75€ here in Spain. If you like watch that episode and you will see better why it was my #1 choice. I simply wish that more models were similar to that one these days. Those are almost "extinct" and is only sad that more and more models won't be like that anymore.

They are True To Size in Adidas for me. I didn't seen any reason to size up with these ones so... I guess it's up to you. I would even say that they have more space in toebox than other Adidas running sneakers. They are Adidas models were going size up is crucial but here... I don't see why, if you already know well your size in Adidas.

Hola 👋 bro . Tengo unos adidas galaxy 6 y las tengo 3 meses , pero ya una se esta pelando adentro en la gamuza. Porqué será? .
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES 3 месяца назад
EN: Hello, Normally the first thing would be to think... Well the lining material is too thin, but in this case it is not the worst I saw (there are others that have thin ones like women's tights) and here I really don't think it would be this (hence my "almost" average rating of 2.2/5* at 04:48). Some things and bad habits (that come to mind) that can reduce the life of the inner lining of footwear that we can all commit at some point: - Not having a pair of other shoes to make a weekly circle. That is, on Monday the blue ones, on Tuesday the black ones, on Wednesday I take the green ones and on Thursday I return to the blue ones... etc. - Do not open the laces to take them off and put them on and do not use a shoe horn (which by the way right now at IKEA they have them for €0.49 by searching for this name "SNÖSKYFFEL" and I bought a pair of them because they are at a correct price ), although we notice the extra pressure/friction all the time. - Wear invisible socks, although we noticed that the skin on the top of the heel comes into contact with the lining quite often. - Using the shoes during the rain (I have them already wet, but I have about 2-3 km left and I don't return home until I have finished them). - Some others, that I don't remember for now. Things like these can have a negative impact on footwear. I have "lifestyle" sneakers in the closet (like NB 997 and 991) that are approaching 8 years of intermittent use (by rotation with others), which still look like new. I changed a couple of laces more than anything, to give it a personalized style, but I want to say that with proper use they can have a fairly long life. I can get around ~3 years of use out of running shoes if they are well made. I hope you find this comment helpful in some way.

@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES 3 месяца назад
I've seen softer than these ones, but I wouldn't trade these ones over the softer ones. These ones are really good sneakers from my point of view. For the price that they have I would buy them without any hesitation. The stack is giving them pretty decent cushioning. I've tested sneakers with 220€ price tag that don't have the cushioning that these ones have... Hopefully they will sell them for years exactly the way they are but knowing where everything is heading in 1-2 years top you won't see them again... Just me guessing. If right now I had to choose just 1 model from adidas (from everything that I've tried so far) no matter the price range... will be this one, and that I believe it says something. The only way to be improved (for the price that they have) will be maybe a better lining and a slightly wider tongue... other than that is really a "fair model".

@@distyarzabila2210 Ok, I will clear it up for you in a second. :) Most of the running sneakers are made for asphalt (Galaxy 6 included that are more than ok for 5KM running asphalted road), if you need them for running on the country roads, forest, national parks (with dirt tracks with gravel /& rocks) you have to look for dedicated sneakers that are marked as "Trail running sneakers/gear". That category in Adidas is called "Terrex" and have special bigger and thicker rubber lugs that will increase the grip in that kind of terrain (something like TERREX SOULSTRIDE ULTRA TRAIL, just an example). @@EasyLifeES why is the duramo speed pricier than these
@EasyLifeES
@EasyLifeES 4 месяца назад
@@cuanokingstephenict12b63 In theory that Duramo Speed is a better shoe for longer runs. Has less weight, more breathable, little bit more cushioning, so it should had been a better sneaker for running in hot climate. Unfortunately, from my point of view they ruin it by making them with the tip too "sharp" (more like an arrow shape) and that is NOT normal for most of the feet. If you have a very narrow feet you might get away with that "design flaw". Otherwise, I believe you will end up having the same problem with them as I have.. That "detail" it creates bad pressure points to my toes after less than 5 minutes, and I only made few steps indoors for filming... without even going outside where we really pushing them. It resemble to Boston 12 in design (B12 are great without problems), the lock down works great and the feet won't slide to the front end of the shoe, so the feet won't rub "the rubber-plastic piece" that is used inside to reinforce the toe box. In Duramo Speed the proportions/materials or both are not at the level of Boston 12 that look similar but without the issues. If you like, check them in a store even compared to other and decide for yourself which one is better to your needs. I believe that everyone's feet are different, so it depends what adapts better for every individual. I couldn't recommend them knowing the problems that I had with them. If I wouldn't try them I wouldn't even guess that they will have "that" problem. The angle difference maybe is not that big in between "Duramo Speed" and "Boston 12" (or it might be even equal I don't know for sure, maybe are the materials used in Duramo Speed that fails to keep the feet in one place like it does the Boston 12). Something is different enough and that creates really serious comfort issues for MY feet. I personally wouldn't buy them for any price, no matter how cheap they are. I prefer something that won't create me health issues, even though I might sacrifice some cushioning, weight, breathability and so on. This is my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt!
