You do know what's so funny the church is called Jesus Christ of latter-day saints it is Easter weekend and you have not heard one thing about Jesus Christ his resurrection in the whole conference why is that.

How easy for the men to brush off the women and to see them as weak and silly for worrying. A good husband comforts his wife and doesn't use the temple and eternal covenants to dismiss her feelings

If most of their converts are coming from Africa, where are all the African temples being built? Maybe I missed the announcements about that...🤔

I was clothing checked in the 90’s in Kentucky, it’s not just near Utah. Glad I never went tot he temple because the idea of garments gives me the icks.

Some of you might say we older one's are behind the times and you would be right. However, in the time that is behind me!! In these cases age is wisdom and experience. Older and wiser ... well, for me I have half of that down.

How many ACTIVE temple recommends are there per temple? MAYBE 5,000.

It made me laugh until I had tears rolling down my face to hear that at their big semi annual conference they had two talks about underwear 🤣🤣🤣 I just DON'T get it. Can't they just do that when they interview someone to go to the temple. That's what they did when I was in the church. And because me and my husband did not wear them at night we only had one bishop out of many that wouldn't renew our recommends if we didn't start wearing them. My husband lied and said we would. I did not care if we went to the temple or not. I couldn't believe he lied to get it renewed. The bishop didn't ask me he only asked my husband after he had me leave the room. I have a niece whose daughter is on saints unscripted and yes she does get paid somehow by the church. She and another girl were talking about garments and how they like them and how no one in the wards really judge whether others are wearing them-- like they don't check for the garment line ha ha. I couldn't believe THEY were talking about underwear on saints unscripted. I made a comment asking why are you defending underwear. Let people wear whatever underwear they want. Nobody really cares. 🤣🤣🤣

This leads me to think if Bednar and Uchtdorf were called at the same time, which one of them becomes the next prophet?

First of all, I spent more than a decade working in long term care, dementia care, and hospice. I love and respect the elderly immensely. But by respect I mean they should be cherished and cared for, not used as symbolic figure heads past the point of anyone believing they are capable of doing the job to its utmost. The incidence of dementia (including Alzheimer’s) is 1 in 5 after age 65 and 1 in 2 after the age of 85. That means that statistically about half of the 15 is not cognitively capable of doing the job. Let these poor men retire and go spend what time remains to them with their family and friends. Give them that modicum of dignity. Even the Catholics have done the Emeritus Pope thing, so why does the LDS church feel the need to play silly games? Secondly, there is no corporation or actual non profit on the planet that would fill its C suite and board with 80+ year olds no matter how competent they may be. The company or organization would rapidly become stagnant and out of touch with the modern world in which it functions. Such an organization would rapidly become irrelevant and cease to exist. In healthy culturally relevant organizations worldwide, older leadership retires and newer leadership is brought up the ranks. Slow continual evolution of the organization to stay culturally relevant naturally results. So not only does this “they can retire when they’re 6 feet under” attitude insult to the men involved, it makes zero sense in the context of actually running a successful long term business or social organization.

I think it's embarrassing to have a worldwide televised conference, and to spend 10+ minutes on garments / underwear!! Formula: Wearing the garments = Increased commitment = keeping the covenant = more tithing revenue

What Holland said struck me as a "Near Death Experience" & I automatically thought Chad & Lori Daybell. If they ( THE Church) have not been able to condemn them how much less could they condone NDE even if it's from one of the top men
