I'm in Holiday-Mode. We're finally going for a longer trip up the coast in the #Teslander. I'm prepping the car and test if the Tesla built-in navigation is useful to plan such a trip. There is a diference between navigation and trip-planner.

Andy, the BOM’s MetEye gives at least 5 days of wind forecast for all of Australia. It’ll the little grey icon below the radar or forecast page ...... about half way down.

You get better efficiency/economy in heavy traffic and being somewhat old I have changed my attitude to traffic for it’s efficiency advantage. Mountains and city traffic is good in a Tesla (less aero drag).......who would have thought that ! Ps - how do I get the ice cream van pedestrian sound to play on our January ‘20 build ?

You cannot play the sounds outside of the vehicle here in Australia. We didn't get the speaker as there was no legal requirement for it.

Really angers me that the latest update gives you utter rubbish like boombox but no waypoints for the navigation.

I would say frustrating, not “angers”. There would have been very little work done by Engineers and code writers adding those games in, very VERY different to adding waypoints.
