I've got a funny/true story now that you've teased about using the city's sawhorses. When I lived in Albuquerque, there was prolonged, massive updating of the I 5/ I 40 interchange. Lots of orange barrels directing traffic, and a major headache for drivers of a multi-year project. One year, one of the major radio stations had a contest (don't remember what the requirements were to win) but the prize was a round-trip for two to go to the factory that made those orange cones (in Pennsylvania, I think). A camera crew accompanied the couple that won, and documented the bemused workers at the plant who couldn't imagine why anybody would want to come just to see their plant!!! It was hilarious, seeing the faces of some of the plant workers!---Gas went down a bit, but it's been creeping up again, now back to $4.19/gallon.
Its a garage sale and they were not priced. They need rewiring and work. The seller could have counter offered if he really cared. When going to garage sales. Its about getting the best price.
So... Karen's hours of work cleaning and rewiring are worth nothing then? As well, we had no clue what condition the crystals were in as they were just in bags. We did find some broken ones and had to replace them at our own cost. We paid him what they were worth in the condition they were in.
