I appreciate the Spanish player for taking the hill. It takes courage to do that against the English, otherwise, for that hill to hold, a foot guard from some stronger faction is needed, their cannons were also used for nothing, all in all, a great video, Apollo thanks for the upload.

hey apollo i highly recommend the field command: napoleon mod for NTW, it has many nations and units and is stable enough to support massive units

I'm no expert at these games, but using Spain as a static line faction instead of supporting the French in a flank/skirmishing way seems.. oooff. Spanish cavalry can harrass British cavalry fairly effectively, but their line infantry just isn't a match.

It makes no sense what this game does with the Spanish line infantry and the faction in general, making it so weak, when the Spanish had just won an excellent campaign in the Caribbean Sea against the British in 1781 to 1783, being allies of the United States. United (recapturing Florida, isolating the British in their island bases and preventing logistical support from reaching the British army fighting against the 13 colonies), while at the same time acting very well as allies of Napoleon from 1796 to 1802 (before the betrayal ), and they were even the first country to defeat a Napoleonic army in the Battle of Bailén in 1808. All of this is not done by one with a terrible line infantry as CA shows in this game and if this was because of how Napoleon invaded so easily the Iberian Peninsula, you just have to study the context well to understand that it was only possible because Napoleon's troops had entered to invade Portugal and they were given free passage; The Spanish had their armies dispersed because they were not supposed to be in danger (in addition to having sent half of their veteran troops to Denmark in 1807, in support of the French), so when the French forces began to violently occupy the cities, the situation was indefensible. Despite all that, the Spanish put up great resistance and Napoleon had to arrive in person to finish the job; However, he did not succeed, since the guerrillas and the few cities that remained free, such as Cadiz, maintained the war effort until British aid with Portugal. I would donate a ton of cash to a modder who added the famous Sean Bean's "Sharpe Bastard Compilation" into the british infantry in NTW3. Someone did Nigel Green's voice for the Zulu mod afterall. ok. I think hearing one of his utterings occasionally would be amusing. Imagining an entire frontline blasting away shouting "bastard!" variations has me in stitches. Yeah. I'm immature. I'm watching this whilst watching Sharpe highlights and feeling very content. Thanks anyway to all involved, to the participants and to Pixelated Apollo and his cinematography for making this game still rule the series.❤ Note regarding Sgt. Harper. I'm imagining a unit routing and hearing "Who gave you leave to move you tub of lard?!"
