ugh...so many things i can't get over. how beautiful the kitchen is with the greenery covering an entire section of the wall and the room in general, how good the food always looks, and how absolutely stunning this man is
Don't hold this against me but I'm not a vegan... Yet, lol. I have some severe medical problems that in the last 2 years have made it such that my system rejects almost everything I eat. To the point I struggle to maintain my weight I am 5'10" and I struggle to stay above 110lbs ( I have always been around 150lbs). It has caused me to be unable to work, thrown into disability. I have always prided myself in feeding my family well balanced meals. My girls are grown and now its just me and hubby. A year ago I started to investigate eating more beans and legumes. My body totally rejects meat entirely and I just got so depressed drinking all my meals. Due to the lack of nutrition and throwing all my food up for several years it cause a deficiency that took my teeth. So on top of not being able to eat animal protien and fresh vegetables because I couldn't chew it well enough and my system rejects it I have found that my system can eat BEANS and cook vegetables. So sorry long story but this has been life or death and consuming my every thought during the day on how to get what I need. I LOVE THIS RECIPE!!! I'm so excited about it! My hubby is not giving up meat but he has been more open to trying different things! He has agreed to this for Christmas Eve meal!!! Thank you for your channel! I am subscribing and look forward to making several of your recipes! My family has always loved my cooking and now I am confident that I can still make delicious, beautiful vegetarian meals that they will love also! Thank you so much, I am crying over this recipe as we speak since it is going to replace my beef Wellington this year! Happy tears!

Yes, doing the roast and the gravy at one time IS pretty wonderful. I made a nutmeat pate in brioche one christmas that had mushrooms, it was pretty amazing, rich and and very filling. and took a lot of time. this reminds me of that, and looks wonderful. i love cauliflower florets dipped in spiced marinade and rice flour and baked. sublime. ate a lot of that last fall, cooking with others. happy new year to you. Please don't become too much of a star, and remain the lovely humble and lit up person you are. ( I can say these things, because I am older... ✌️)

@Ghost I didn't say that you shouldn't encourage people, but "hey, I started just like you and the first thing that really convinced me and made the transition super easy was plant milk, maybe you wanna give it a try someday" is a lot more uplifting than "do it".
@Ghost It's not an invitation, if you say "change your life" and it does not have anything to do with information if you say "start incorporating plant milks". It's all imperative mood. I grew up as the only vegan in a family of non-vegans and I used to be a real b*tch about stuff like that, always telling my family how bad people they were and I told them "you can have my food", "drink my plant-milk", "try my cheese", so I really get that you want people to live like you, but unfortunately this is not the best way to convince them. I used to hate vegans telling me stuff like that. Had heard it over and over. I was the only one responsible for going vegan because I wanted to, not because some indoctrinating imperative mood-guy made me do it. You have a wonderful holiday season as well, take care and stay safe.

This was the most amazing christmas themed dish I saw this year, not to mention is it just entertaining and funny content with a great host. If I had been able to make anything this year, this is what I would have picked. I also love the idea of spicy dishes on the holidays. Everything is all sweet and savory or rich and fatty. Lean and spicy but festive is a great way to mix it up. And the sound that bread makes when you cut into it. Yum.
Yesterday I cried cutting an onion and the more I cried the more it burned and my nose sweat. Seeing you simply cut an onion and are completely fine just made me think of it
That's what I have used for years!!! Grace makes the best jerk seasoning. The mild is more than enough, (the hot is scary to me! ) and I keep it in my pantry.
