We are truly housed in the Age of Horus, but we are evolving onward. 93, 93/93. Love is the law, but Love is under Will (not over it). Love is being lost to the Will of the Outside. And as Eros is lost, Thanatos takes over, which causes the Trickster archetype to topple. ^_^

Thinking that they are somehow different is a fundamental error of western thought. Eros has always lead to God (Death). @MrCJCala: I would agree. Eastern thought is generally more accepting of amalgamating opposites as opposed to juxtaposing them as separate dichotomies (which most Western thinkers (though certainly not all) tend to do). Still, Jung was nothing if not a Gnostic and hermetic alchemist. Thus the need for Individuation to develop the Self by bringing the unconscious conscious or uniting the Shadow aspects of ourselves (i.e., Senex is the Shadow of the Puer Aeternus). The point is that the unconscious archetypes themselves are falling behind the conscious, which has been accelerated by technology, leading to runaway and ruin. Thus the Eastern amalgamation of opposites becomes outdated or, at the very least, in need of an upgrade. Jungian Individuation no longer seems to suffice. Death thus escapes Eros and rushes forward into the final stages of the eschatological front.
