Here's a video of how an Epiphone EJ200 Vintage Sunburst no cutaway sounds. This EJ200 was from Indonesia and it was made in 2010. Enjoy. For more Epiphone videos, you can take a look here - / guitarsupernova Thanks for watching.
I inherited a 94 (maybe 92) samick non cutaway version like this and it has a 9v battery in it- it hasn’t been plugged in for at least a few years, I’m assuming I need to get the battery out/changed right? Need to get some lessons to appreciate and make the most of it but still new to guitars haha thanks for the video, nice to see what it can sound like when someone decent plays it instead of me playing smoke on the water and 7 nation army awkwardly 😂
Ahahah! Nice words, mate. Thanks very much for your compliments. I appreciate it. I'm sorry for my late reply. So...if this is your first guitar you're very very very very very lucky. This is one of the best acoustic guitars that Epiphone ever made. This guitar, originally, was made without an internal amplification system. I I bought it used and its former owner had it fitted with a great amplification system that makes it play faithfully live with its original sound when it is not plugged. I loaded a video where I play it live with my band and her sound is very great. You should change the battery, anyway. P.s. Are you from Italy?
@@beaulieumickael2190 Without a doubt. This guitar had a nice sound, but the neck was awkward to play and the tuners didn't always hold the tuning. I liked it for its sound and its aesthetic beauty. But, the new J-200 is another world.
@@GuitarSupernova Oh thank you very much ! I got an offer at 400euros for that elvis guitar but I was looking first to get the new J200 inspired by gibson...
@@beaulieumickael2190 I suggest you to play the J-200 before. Even if Epiphone makes very good guitars for 400 euros. The Inspired by Gibson is a professional version, easy to play, with a big good sound, Fishman pick-ups, looking like a Gibson.
In my opinion, the EJ200 made in Korea is more better than this one made in Indonesia. I traded this one with the new J-200 Inspired by Gibson because it wasn't so comfort to play because of the neck. Good sound, but it didn't keep the tuning so easily. It's a shame because, in general, this was a nice guitar. The EJ200 made in Korea is more and more better for the quality, for the sound, for the comfort, for the woods, for the tuning. The cutaway ones made in Indonesia are very good guitars too.
@@haosamu1867 You're welcome, mate. I wish you to find your personal EJ200. You should find the cutaway version and the J-200 Inspired by Gibson in the shops. The one of this video is out of stock since 2012.
@@haosamu1867 Hey, hello. Welcome back on my channel. I'm so happy for you. The EJ200 is a very nice guitar. I played one of them made in Korea in 1996. Nice one.
