The protagonist of this episode of Combat Approved is the fast attack craft Project 21631 Buyan-M. This ship is the first in our country to be created using stealth technology and the only one in the world that can sail in shallow waters while carrying cruise missiles on board. By the way, the Buyans were the first to use the now-famous Kalibr missiles against militant targets in Syria. At that time, these launches shocked NATO: before that, the West did not believe that the Russian Navy could destroy targets in the Mediterranean region without leaving the coastal zone of the Caspian Sea. And now Combat Approved is going where the Kalibr missiles were first launched - to the Caspian Sea. In this campaign the military sailors for the first time will show how the launches of the newest cruise missiles take place in the most difficult weather conditions - during a storm. Moreover, for the first time the Buyan-M will show the whole arsenal of its capabilities: throwing aerosol screen, deploying mines, firing the ship's cannon and shooting from the world's fastest artillery gun - all this will take place directly in front of a camera. Of course, the film crew will also visit the production facility, where a real exclusive will be filmed: the first public demonstration of an until recently classified model of the ship, which is being developed as a legacy of the glorious project Buyan-M - a trimaran, capable of carrying twice as many cruise missiles.
