We start our spring and summer excursions with our first stop in Sedona, AZ, where we do a number of hikes through the beautiful scenery and amazing rock formations.
I've not been back to Sedona in years, but I'm always happy to see it through RU-vidr eyes. I was a student at Verde Valley School from 83-86 - and it amazes me how popular Sedona is now. Back then there were no big parking problems and we could walk all over the red rocks - like that hike up Cathedral was a random scramble, maybe an unofficial trail, and nobody but us out there. I sure do miss the place. Thanks for sharing your time there with us.
Another awesome video! I would have hated to leave Hawaii as well but looks like everyone has adjusted to having a great time back on the road. Sedona definitely goes on the list of places to visit. Thanks for sharing. Wishing y'all safe travels.
Great to see you out and about. We just finished a tour of the Olympic Peninsula. That part of the trip was inspired by you! Thanks for that, it was beautiful!
@@johnjessjourney2352 yes, stayed at same CG as you guys did. Did the Rialto Beach hike, Hall of Ferns and Hoh river trail. All awesome, though the weather was a challenge!
Hey! Discovered your website/channel from your Airstream. Right across lane from you at Ruby’s! Hope to get a chance to say hi before we head out early tomorrow! I love the Airstream. Can’t believe the tow vehicle. 🤯 You have to know something I don’t know! (That’s not hard!) 😂
Hey Pop Corn! Which RV are you in? We are leaving today. Yes we get a lot of second looks regarding the tow vehicle. Its a special ordered F150 that not only has the max towing package but also a heavy duty payload package that ups its cargo capacity to 2453lbs, slightly more than a standard F250. Most people would just opt for the F250 but we wanted the slightly lower truck body so my wife could get the kids in and out of the car seat more easily. We also get a slightly better turning radius. So that payload package couple with the Propride / Hensley hitch we have ( which completely gets rid of trailer sway ) makes it tow like a dream.
@@johnjessjourney2352 We had an alarm problem - forgot to set one - woke up late and did a 10 minute bug out to make a canyon x tour. Great info on the truck! Save travels.
