Hilary thank you so much for sharing the background of this piece with us. I love this piece very much and I was very interested in it when I first listened to it. I think there is a hypnotic balance in the piece, as you said. If you lose balance, the hypnotic effect also disappears! It’s all about the balance. I also love that you are a musician who thinks about everything in different ways, thank you! 💜

If I didn't know who you were and saw you for the first time, I might have thought that you were a model because you look so beautiful. Relax everyone, it's just a compliment :) I think you should seriously consider giving a TED talk at some point in the future about music and your life-your life as a classical musician, etc. That'll inspire a lot of people, especially the younger generation. You're so interesting! I always enjoy listening to what you have to say about music because I always get something to think about when you talk about it. The art of music is so interesting in so many different ways. It can make you feel and think deeply about subjects you won't even think of when you're not under its influence because music puts you in a state of mind that's different from that in which you're in in a normal waking state. Music can change our brain waves and enhance parts of our brains that we don't normally use. That's why it can sometimes feel hypnotic when you're immersed in the music. It's like it puts you in a meditative state. At least that's how I see it when it comes to classical music, depending on the piece and the performer, of course. Anyway, it's always wonderful to see new videos that you've published. Keep them coming! :)

Lovely and incredible talent! Curious if you've (Hilary) encountered the Harvard Catholic St Paul's Choir School and their performances? Truly inspirational dedication to sacred music. I've had the pleasure attending a Sunday Mass with the organ and boy's choir singing. If haven't already encountered, highly recommend and perhaps a joint concert of sort could be had? We've all heard the story about the honest taxi driver who finds a 17th century Stradivarius inside the back seat of his cab, and then goes on to return the precious violin to its proper owner; however, nobody ever talks about the infamous violinist who one day finds the _Fountain of Youth Elixir_ inside of that very same instrument, and proceeds to use it in small, evenly-spaced doses over several decades, until one day, while approaching her early forties, she gets disciplined while walking just outside the lines at a busy crosswalk, as she is mistaken for a middle school student!
