Solid advice! You can also call/email your couples before their wedding and let them know you’re looking to try something new. I’ve done that and somehow every couple jumps up and down at the idea of getting more than what they paid for.

This is so helpful! I do full production, anything from filming, live streaming events and animation. I mainly do corporate animations, and I’d really love to do more character animations characters with a voice and not just explainer videos with these no-name characters with no personality. It kills me when a client will go through all the hassle of us creating a character, but then they ask for just music and bubble text. So what you’re saying is, I should mainly just show the videos I’ve done with fully dynamic characters with voice and personality, and push that more on my website. That gives me a whole new look on how I should build out a demo reel.

How do you deal with being an introvert or having social anxiety and being a filmmaker? You seem to be a very extroverted person, however are they any tips you can give out to someone who's introverted? Thanks!
