Definitely the better way to go vs. the spacer method. The ability to tailor the spring rate and "tune" the ride quality for a better end result can't be beat. I debated a lift/levelling kit on mine but just didn't want to mess with anything until more people could attest to whether or not they experience issues afterwards. That said, my Firestone Destinations came in this week and one of the guys in the shop is going to install them for me. Just in time for winter!

Looks great but looks like you got 2 inches of lift on front but with the bigger tires it should have been 3 inch right? 2 inches from the lift and 1 inch from the bigger tires. So do those springs really only lift the truck 1” in front? Also any issues with your CV Axles since lifting?

You can purchase the Eibach lift springs on eibach.com yes it's a set of four springs, for front and back. They come together. You also need a set of their camber bolts for proper alignment after installation. Make sure you get those as well. eibach.com/2928/E30-35-057-01-22-FORD-Maverick-pro-lift-kit eibach.com/2928/5.81315K-FORD-Maverick-pro-alignment

Looks great. But the larger tires would throw off your speedometer and the lift tires would eat more gas for sure. All depends on what you need 👍
@themaverickhntr
@themaverickhntr 7 месяцев назад
Yes, the larger tires DO make the speedometer read slower than you are actually going, by a couple mph. And yes, the larger tires do reduce fuel efficiency. As you said, it really boils down to what you need, and for my purposes, the Maverick would be a marginal hunting truck for my needs without the added ground clearance. I do not drive a ton a miles annually or have a lengthy work commute. Capability is far more important than sheer efficiency. As an added bonus, the larger tires also reduce the number of miles recorded by the odometer by roughly 5%. So, for every 10,000 miles driven, my odometer is likely showing 9,500.

Difference is very minimal. A bit stiffer than stock, but still very, very nimble compared to any regular truck you've ever driven. If you need the added ground clearance, it's a trade well worth making IMO. Good luck!

@themaverickhntr
@themaverickhntr Год назад
Look man, I'm running a 2-inch lift, tires three sizes bigger than stock, a big cargo rack on my bed and now a Roofnest tent too. I obviously don't prioritize fuel economy with my build. I prioritize ground clearance, off-road capability and gear storage. I figure I lost 1-2 mpg on the lift kit alone. The more drag and weight you add the more you lose. Can't beat physics.

My CV axles went out on my Maverick after 5K miles on my 2.5" superlift, Are your CV boots holding up? Thanks!
@themaverickhntr
@themaverickhntr 9 месяцев назад
Yea mine are fine. Sorry to hear about your issue. The Eibach lift springs are designed to work with the OEM suspension and there are no clearance issues or rubbing on the CV boots. Was your lift a spacer lift where you have to grind the back of the strut during install?
@themaverickhntr
@themaverickhntr 9 месяцев назад
No issues whatsoever! The Super Lift is a puck-style lift, right? I believe those puck lifts have causes boot issues because you are actually lengthening the struts by bolting those on, and if you don't grind the back of the struts down during installation, the stut contacts the boots and rips them open. The Eibach springs require no strut modifications. They are designed to work with the OEM suspension components and do not change the length of the struts. They merely force the struts to ride higher at rest, within their normally designed range of motion. Hope that makes sense. Sorry to hear you had issues. I had seen many others having similar problems, which steered me away from the puck lifts to a spring-based option.
