Looks amazing! I know you're going to appreciate the more confident feeling off road, and the bump in ground clearance will make a difference. Thanks for the call out! See you out there!!
@KevinHillyard we don't talk about that part. LOL Your grandkids will be far more impressed hearing about your off-road adventures than your milage at the pump! 😉
Awesome! I did the 2.25 level lift from fordrangerlifts and 245/65/17 Falken wildpeak at3w! I still got decent mileage with the tires, but it was the level lift that cost me like 4-5mpgs.
You may drop a few mpg's, but as much as you stay off road you really needed that. Can't wait to see it in action and looks 100% better. Why you didn't let us hear the exhaust on that Carolina Squatter. Just kidding, you have to be 5-10 inches lower in the back... but waiting to hear it too. Thanks for sharing.
I would wager Ford dealer would happily and quickly void the car warranty, due to modification/lift...due to 'abuse/misuse' in its warranty contract....if the problem could possibly be related to the lift....time will tell, and loosing about 5MPG with lift. That said yes the lift looks good. Just wish Ford would offer factory lift option so as to clear up any warranty issues.
@@OverlandFlorida aw man. That's unfortunate. I wonder if the issue applies to the 2023. The CVs were covered even with the lift installed? That's awesome!
@@jamescastillo2473 it was a bad batch of CV axles. They are covered up to 60k miles. I have 48k now. Even with a lift and larger tires, Ford is replacing mine.
@@OverlandFlorida sucks! That's awesome. Hope you get your aorts soon. Hope it doesn't have you stationary, but recently watched your boat camping and noticed the Mav... So, maybe not. Keep up the awesome content.
@@OverlandFlorida Was that caused by the lift kit or was it just bad parts. I have seen people replacing CV's under warranty as low as 5K miles with no lift and talking about a wobble on the drivers side. My Mav is being shipped now and I am debating the lift.
