Nice variable speed range testing done, mostly 85 km/h (80-81 GPS) and roughly 25% 105 km/h (100-101 GPS). We achieved good range despite some headwind!
😊⚡ Not really my area of expertise either, but I thought others might want to know. When I have the opportunity, I might do it again, but max 85 km/h and zero wind maybe. It will be close or below 100-105 Wh/km
A bit different cars those? But I do think that these triplets (Mii/e-UP/Citigo) are the best value for money as far as EVs go at the moment. Glad if my videos helped you 😊
EWheeler Finland Yes, different indeed. Price wise pretty similar though since I am thinking new Skoda vs used Lexus. Skoda being a bit cheaper to buy, to drive and easier to drive in the city is tempting but Lexus is bigger, safer and has 3 times the range. So basically one is better for longer trips while the other better for everyday use. Sunday after the test drive I will let you know what have we chosen. And yes your video was really helpful, thanks 🙏
We have bought the Skoda Citygoe vi Style. There is 3 months waiting time due to all cars being sold out at the moment. The dealer said that factories were closed due to COVID-19 and that's why there is no new cars available at the moment.
@@user-mm2tw1zr7p 😀⚡👍 Three months is short! In Finland, it's six months at the moment. Yep, the dealer here told me the same thing. But the factory was only closed for four weeks in June, I think. The longer trip every month is going to be the problem for you. You may need to borrow some other car for that? Especially in the winter, the Citigo will do only 150-180 km even when driving slowly, if the heater is on and there's even a hint of snow on the road. I'm just editing another video here. A 244+244 km road trip with only one charge stop.... Was interesting 😅⚡Arrived at the turning point with 6-7% battery and when I came home, had 4%
The range is ok for most of the trips. Even if we need to charge it on a way once or twice it is ok because it charges pretty fast and the charging infrastructure here in Norway is pretty good. If we plan on taking a long ride then we can rent a car from car collective we are member of. They have pretty good prices and a wide range of cars to chose from. Btw. I wonder if you have been looking at the car from below? In the car we have been driving today there was nothing covering the engine compartment from the bottom. I think this can be a problem during the winter ❄️ The road services put a lot of salt on the roads which is corroding metals and if there is no cover the car will get pretty dirty under the hood. I know one can buy covers for the engine compartment but I have not found one for Citygoe yet.
Depending on weather, just like the air con. But the electric air con pump is very low power in this car (still cools very well despite this). But in cold weather, the heating takes much more power. I will be testing range also in the winter.
