Episode Two, a trip to Thirsk
A simple motorhome scooter rack
Welcome to Episode Two and thanks for watching.
In this video we talk about our scooter rack, loading and unloading etc, our trip to Thirsk on the bike, the restaurant we visited and recommend.
We hope you get the feel of Thirsk and the area, we love North Yorkshire.
The scooter rack is a Dave Cooper one that fits to the tow bar and can carry up to about 119kg, the scooter weighs 109kg. Many of you have asked questions about the rack so we thought to show you again how it’s mounted and how it works.
This scooter rack is fairly cheap in price compared to many others on the market. We will make some modifications to this in the near future and show you.
It does the job, but it’s not perfect.
Thirsk is a lovely place to visit, plenty of shops, cafe bar and restaurants.
Golden Square Caravan and Camping site got a 9 out of 10 from us, this is our base for the weekend, lots of facilities etc and a lovely show/toilet block. The information hut even had a drinks machine for hot drinks and a small cost. Table and two chairs in case it’s raining inside.
The weather was vey wet at the weekend, but we did get a sunny day when we went into Thirsk.
