Epoxy Resin Allergy Basics and how to know if you have an allergy and how to prevent reactions 

Thank you so much for this video I have had problems lately after I've used epoxy resin and I get the worst itchy red hands they wake me up in the middle of the night and I started scratching my hands like crazy and then I noticed the next time they start having little dots on them so I'm definitely getting an allergic reaction from the epoxy resin and I appreciate you confirming that for me and also explaining the precautions that I need to take because I was devastated thinking that I wasn't going to be able to use it anymore. Thank you for this! I just started to do resin earlier this week and yesterday noticed that my face was itchy and had little bumps. After watching your video I purchased a respirator and long gloves. Going to wait until the allergic reaction goes away before I start working with it again.

Hello! I am definitely allergic to resin. I stopped using it for months not sure if it was the paint or resin and just recently decided to try again. Well my eyes got so puffy that I needed a $300 eye ointment for the last 4 days. I was using Stone Coat resin. I have tried other resins as well and have had reactions. I bought Krylon® UV-Resistant Clear Gloss but the smell is SO toxic that I think I am more inclined to try the resin with lots of precautions instead. I did buy some of the alternative resins but am not too confident that they will work for my needs. Thanks for pointing out that it really doesn't matter the brand of resin since resin is resin.

I work in a company that uses resin, I don't get swelling but I am very itchy while I work there and my body heats up a lot, I sweat. Is this pre allergic warnings?

Do the same precautions apply when using UV resin?
