Hey Guys, been watching your videos for a couple of years now. Love them. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Spent many (almost 20 years building homes) years in the trades. I'm going do to major remodeling on our house. Was going to do quartz countertops in the kitchen but now seriously considering your products for that and showers. My main concern is durability specifically regarding countertops. I would like to see you do a video of you basically torture testing countertops. Real world, taking a cookie sheet out of a 400 degree oven, scratch tests etc. Show what happens if you use certain cleansers, chopping vegetables, basically trying to "make" them fail. While they look amazing I would like to see some durability testing. I think that would give everyone a better sense of the reality of using epoxy. Thanks and hope to see something along these lines. We used S.C.C. on my beautiful self built custom kitchen countertops several years ago and still love them. So now it's time to update our 2018 fifth wheel camper shower. Being a camper we had to keep the weight of any materials used down, so S.C.C. was the first thing I thought about. Seeing how easy and lightweight your shower panels were...we knew this was the way to go! I can't wait to get this shower project started!! Looks like S.C.C. will be doing a lot of "traveling" with us! We love everything about S.C.C.!!

There's snow outside and it's open.... And he quit on us... Totally out of the blue... Now we're stuck doing wat we can and only got a small small Budget.. hehehe... Looks like a dream come true for building a light weight shower in a RV build! I wounded how much weight this actually added to the foam boards. Percentage wise.

Even if there is no plan for glass doors like shown here, adding the reinforcement allows for so many options in the future. Works great for a shower rod mount too. Great transformation!

I just watched this (I’ve seen other projects before, and people spend so much money on those one day bathroom transformations, and end up with a plastic-looking bathroom for at least 5 times the amount of money for something that doesn’t at all compare to the results of your epoxy, and it’s just too bad because it’s and such a versatile product! I wanted to mention a couple of things that might be of interest as an option to the final product, especially to those who have to create a brand new shower/ bath to shower conversion. I had a very old colonial house about 20 years ago and the house had only one full bathroom on the first floor that desperately needed a complete remodel, but more importantly, it needed a bathroom on the second floor period, it had all of the bedrooms and zero bathrooms. I was convinced we had enough room to put a couple of closets together, and it is too bad we didn’t have this product back then! We absolutely did have a solution, and that solution was to use shower doors that slide side to side instead of opening the door in the traditional open-motion way, which would have most definitely prevented us from having a shower altogether, and we definitely didn’t want a Mickey-mouse shower looking corner thing. Even though we used traditional tile, the solution would be viable for any material used! Our other “easy” solution was to use tile all the way throughout instead of just up to a certain height/etc. , including the ceiling. We used light-colored neutral marble tile that was very inexpensive, and nobody was doing this. The final bathroom looked absolutely incredible, and we didn’t have to deal with any paint. The entire bathroom used the same tile, no special backsplashes, just uniform (it had some light grey marbling- and of course if you’re creating your custom panels, you have so much more versatility with making it look the way you want to, but I just wanted to add that KISS works with designs, too- looking back on it, it would have been gaudy looking if we tried to complicate a very simple design with all these lines breaking up a streamlined look. I stopped by the house around 10 years ago and talked to the new family who bought the house from us, and they said the bathroom was the reason they bought the house in the first place. We bought and sold that house for less than $300k in the early 2000s, and it’s worth $650k now. And now I’m watching your beautiful craft and thinking how many homes you are helping to build their value! Thank you for your talent, craft, and dedication!

This looks so amazing! I used to install tile and I hope the tile installers are paying attention and start trying this. Hopefully this will be the choice of today and the future so we don't have to look at grout joints anymore.

Just something to share, when applying your 100% silicone, spray it with some 409 or similar before cleaning your bead line. You will get a cleaner,easier bead with less mess on your finger.

It looks AMAZING but how resistant is it to damage if someone knees, elbows or bumps a shampoo onto it? how does it hold against water and condensation damage?

I'd be curious to see how this holds up. The foam in the shower (although protected) is just throwing me for a loop.

AMAZED! I flip houses and most of them date around 40+ years old. They also have windows in the worst possible locations. The tub & shower.... Other than tile from a big box loser that never offers matching corner tile, there are NO products for remodeling that allow for window cut-outs without going through the nose in price. This idea, is an answer to old bathrooms. The foam is going to be rigid enough where I can even punch holes around the old shower walls to inspect leaks and then cover with panels and no worries! I'm subscribed and surprised at your competitive pricing on all epoxy products.

I just found your channel tonight and subscribed immediately. This project is perfect for my bathroom. I’ve been struggling for years thinking of a low cost, low maintenance way to renovate our 80’s bathtub/shower. Can’t wait to get rid of those nasty doors and rails.

Could you address the durability and strength? Foam has definite advantages over mdf board for water proofing purposes but I wouldn’t want to slip and have my shoulder dent it. Does that mesh plus the epoxy make it hardy? Also could you use that pvc board as the main structure? Does epoxy adhere to pvc ??

Epoxy is more expensive than I thought. Was gonna do my floors but found out vinyl flooring is a cheaper route.

The colors are great would like to know if this same process can done over cement walls and floor? Do I need to apply like a RED GAURD? Will the temperature and/or humidity affect in any way?

My profession is cleaning medical centers and move-outs for your major real estate companies. The NEW Dawn spray is ideal for cleaning shower and tubs...Non abrasive and cut the body grease, will also leave a shine. It's my main cleaner now and goes a long way on a large grout sponge.

I am beyond impressed with this shower! We are going to remodel all 3 bathrooms & plan on starting one in the fall. I would like to do the same effect that you did in black & white, but using brown, white, & copper. The river rock flooring is amazing! My brother-in-law owns his own home construction company & his house is stunning. He has a river rock shower floor & advised us against doing it due to its level of difficulty, huge mess, and time it takes. With your products, however, I know it will look so incredible whilst being easier on the knees & back, too. I already love every video you put out...this one especially rocks!
