I tried this method and it worked for the black ink but unfortunately not for the other colors. I tried and tried resuscitating , with several attempts at cpr compressions and sadly an Epson rep gave me the news that I loss my printer 😔 but the good news is that my printer is still under warranty so they will be sending a replacement free of charge! 😃😃😃😆 If I never watched this video I probably would’ve just went and bought a new printer, so thank you so much for the information!!

ordered cleaning kit, tried using printhead cleaning solution i had and a tiny needle insertion, not good enough hopefully the kit will do the trick

Will it work on epson ET-2850? My pink/magenta does not print. And it my I k comes out faded now. But they tanks are full. I am by no means experienced in cleaning printer heads.

Followed your cleaning instructions with Cleaning kit but I still can't get the tanks to fill so printer will bot allow me to nozzle check etc. I have very little black ink and can't put more in. Any help ?

Let me try a different ink model, whether you're using OEM or not maybe try third-party Inc. and if you're already using third-party ink vice versa.

I followed the directions. Then reinstalled the ink. The ink cartridge area started to smoke and seems to burnt out. Is that something can could happen?

I followed your instructions using this kit and after about 5 nozzle cleaning prints...it now doesn't recognize the ink cartridges and is saying that I need to replace them...they are new. Help??!! It won't let me do anymore cleaning runs because of the "no" ink issue.

So the little piece to the left of the ink thingys fell off in this process. I can’t get it back on. It’s got a little quarter circle on the bottom. Any advice?

If you are talking about the white ribbon, that would need to be replaced by a technician.

I just want to be able to print using colors and an empty black cartridge. I've done it with black only. But now I need the colors to make black. I need to print a shipping label to send out something tomorrow asap.

I hope you figured it out, but in your printer settings it should ask you or there should be a property or function you can click where you computer will say "running low on black. Is it OK to mix colors to make Black?" and while I would never call it a true black it absolutely passes for black and yes, you can do this on a WF-2850. I do it in my settings on the computer itself. A black cartridge must be in place, even if empty.

Printer WF-2850 Epson. I buy my all color and black ink on Friday and on Monday it’s half gone I didn’t print a thing. It leaked in my printer. Do you know why that happened?

i really don't want to do this if i dont have to. I saw another video where there was just a spot of ink on the roller the guy took out to clean. I just cant see the roller on my wf 2830. im still trying to figure it out.

Yeah, the rollers are close to where the printhead passes over. Cleaning those will solve your problem. But if the problem persist, then you might want to use the cleaning kit because the printhead might be smearing ink.

@@BestPrinters awesome. Thank you so much. I'm gonna try the roller first, if it persists, I'll try your method. I ended up putting the yellow ink in and never used the buttons replacing the cartridge and now it's got ink on the paper and the pictures are just all faded bad lol

So my girl made a mistake while trying to insert her ink cartridges one of her Ink Cartridge Chip Connector Holders started moving is this bad also one of those little golden pieces broke off as well i searched Amazon to find the replacement but she is afraid to take a chance. Can the Ink Cartridge Chip Connector Holder be fixed or replaced

In your settings you may have clicked to black and white only or "greyscale" printing. It means no colors will print even if a picture or what you want to print has colors. It's normally a setting issue as I buy the 212XL so I can have more black ink as I use more black than colors.

Have you already cleaned the printhead with Best Printers Cleaning Kit? If so, you will need to run the printhead cleaning in the printer "Settings" under "Maintenance". This will push the ink back into the system.

hello ! my WF 2860 leaked a bunch with my CISS system! trying to use sublimation refillable cartridges! the mat inside the printer got inked . is that bad ? with my printer still print ? ive had no help from google
