A definite discussion with my gp in 2 weeks. I'm on Toctico and realize that we do our best to treat the symptoms. My problem is that no one believes me. So our common agreement was to do our best to treat the symptoms regardless of our different views of what it is we are really treating . I'm very grateful for for that ! Great breakdown of this paper. As someone with chronic ebv reactivation always in bloods PCR and IgM and memory CD19 cells, since long before Sars Cov2 Pandemic and without PEM/ME. I can tell you EBV does not cause ME but it can cause debilitating fatigue on a spectrum and other constant symptoms. Not post exertion. ME and Longcovid are just two spectrum diseases under a much larger umbrella of chronic illnesses from viruses. I can also tell you that an mRNA vaccine stirred up the viral shedding of the already active EBV dramatically. Incidentally i was lucky and fine with many viral vectors vaccines before that. Too strong for my immune system it would seem.

The elevated ferritin in the serum reveals that Covid damage is trigging increases in reactive iron inside the cells, which then drives oxidative stress and inflammatory responses. The reactive iron might be causing the cytokine storms. Serum ferritin means that this ferritin released its previously sequestered iron into the cell in a reactive state. Detox the iron, rebuild magnesium and retinol status, rebuild bio-copper status, and force the body into iron-overload induced "zombie cell" repair mode, and it appears some very difficult conditions are resolving.
I have been suffering since Nov of 22 with covid. In February I had an out of control nose bleed that triggered blood pressure. I am now on three medications to control my blood pressure when I have no explanation since a CT revealed a healthy heart, kidneys…specialist can not explain what has happened to me with panic and fear which I have never had, recently it has subsided. But bp is still an issue. Fatigue has plagued me for so long with headaches and feeling like I had the flu. I have researched on my own and have tailored an already stellar diet. I take supplements NAC, vit C, niacin, kefir smoothies everyday to keep my microbiome healthy….so crazy how long this has lasted and no one has answers. My PCP is clueless and thank God for my cardiologist. I hope someone starts educating the doctors so we patients can get correct care.
