This is the most I've ever heard Sam Reid laugh in an interview, not surprising since Naomi has such great energy. This podcast quickly became my favorite of all of the cast interviews.

The host, Naomi is HI-larious 🤣 & she really makes the guest feel comfortable. Sam is usually very soft-spoken in interviews, but she had him straight up HOL-LER-ING 😆 in this interview! I LOVE 💘 IT 😀!! On another note 📝 . . . I AM SO GLAD JACOB SAID FRO. HIS OWN MOUTH THAT LOUIS IS ENTITLED & THAT HE WAS WRONG (AT LEAST PARTIALLY SO) FOR BLAMING LESTAT FOR RUINING HIS LIFE & NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS CHOICES 👏🏾!! I have BEEN saying this in other comment sections that Louis CHOSE --- WASN'T FORCED --- 2B a vampire 🧛🏽‍♂️ cuz he thought it'd be an easy way out of his problems as a mortal, but --- in fact ☝🏾 ---- it just created more/ added 2 his already existing problems. Everyone says I'm making excuses for Lestat & I'm like, NO . . . Lestat was forced into vampirism by his maker who kidnapped him; Louis was actually given the choice by Lestat. Louis didn't even take responsibility for the predicament he put Claudia in by persuading Lestat to turn her while she was still a developing teenager UNTIL Claudia went off on his a$$ about it & ran away from home for 6yrs. And he never even came to Lestat & apologized by saying "You know what? You were right. I shouldn't have changed her," cuz Lestat warned Louis she was too young, plus he was doing it out of his selfish desire to have a child & hoping she would be a band-aid for his & Lestat's f🖕🏾cked up relationship!!

Sam Reid's laughter is wonderful 💕💓💞 His voice melodic. Jacob Anderson also has a sweet voice and his love of and care for the crafting of Louis is fantastic. 🌼🌻🏵

BTW, Eric Bogosian is still a hunk.

I agree Eric, Greyworm (Jacob) is an amazing actor. He's the reason I watched the show, I never read the books and I don't really remember the movie. Lestat is a dramatic brat lol. Everyone brings their character to life phenomenally! Jacob, Sam, Bailey and Eric.

I love Eric so much. He was a gift as Captain Ross on Law and Order CI and he's still giving. 💛❤️💛❤️ Bailey is a real joy. She has been a super Claudia. So layered. 💫💫

The interviewer is such a character, I love how she asks questions, makes the actors comfortable with the informalness, so great!

Don't you ..._ _Don't you be nice! Don't you be sweet, okay?!_ (Sam laughs) Interviewer: _Because I'm coming in here and I'm mad at you!_ (Sam laughing) Sam Reid: *Are you?* Interviewer: _I'm mad at you, Sam Reid!_ (Sam still laughing) Interviewer: _My first question is this..._ (Sam stops laughing and listens) Interviewer: _How dare you?!_ (Sam starts laughing again) Interviewer: _Okay? That's what I have to say!_ Sam Reid: *What are you referring to exactly?* (Sam laughs and the interviewer laughs) Sam Reid: *What do you think?* Interviewer: _Here's what I think of Lestat... Lestat is a messy bitch that lives for drama._ Sam Reid: *Sure.* Me: _LOLLLLL!_ 😂😂😂 I know the interviewer was just teasing Sam but I was not expecting the interviewer to just go off on Sam like that. 😲 She is confidence goals. 😖 I'm shy so I would not even have the guts to say all that to Sam. 😅 The interviewer she literally said exactly how also I feel about Sam Reid playing Lestat too. He's a villain, but I love to hate him lol 🤭❤️

I truly enjoyed all of these interviews I learned so much from everyone. You asked all the right questions and the responses that were elicited were Amazing I so wish there was more!!!! I loved the interactions between you and each actor. Fabulous.

I LOVE that Sam is a fan of the series, he has totally nailed Lestat and I'm thrilled! I cannot wait for Lestat to say wait that's not how it happened and we get his take!

At LAST someone says that this Fenwick scene was NOT satisfying. Could have been, but the director made a cut too soon. There should have been a much longer scene with F. really learning what Louis was and how fearsome he was. Not just cutting off an ear, but deep psychological stuff. And also: how in hell did Louis get in the room??? Watch the door. It doesn't move, and he can't ghost thru things. I need to give Rolin etc. some notes.

I wished you had also included Armand interview, for better and for worse he is part of Louis life and I’m guessing important to this group, and I also love his interview the actor sound so nice and friendly and has such a sweet voice very much like Sam and Jacob.

I’d listen to him read a damn phone book.

52:11 "What does love mean if you can [live/love] forever?" It was an interesting enough question for like five seconds, when she said "I'm 19" 😂. They cast THE RIGHT person for Claudia. She is a 19 year old that looks like a 30 year old playing a 14 year old undead.

46:30 I never got that Louis was going to kill himself. What was indicative of Louis intending on committing suicide?

I've to disagree with Bailey here. As a teenager the reason you can't control your emotions as much as an adult, is, teenagers have much more hormones than adults. Unless the teenagers are sexually active. Adults who aren't sexually active will behave like teenagers because hormones heightened all your emotions. Prefrontal cortex is nonsense. It has nothing to do with your decision making.
