He did however change his opinion on gear. He's been on it since at least 2019, if not before, due to WWE. He also won't mention the fact that he changed statuses, he just doesn't post noble natty videos anymore.
@@a-a-rondavis9438 I don't really care about the natty status of other men, and I also don't think he's obligated to speak about it either. If he chooses to juice, then he chooses to juice. It's none of my business.
Eric is just pure stream of consciousness. The antithesis to Dr Mike. I would like to see those two together. It would be like Arnold and Danny Devito from the movie Twins.
In my opinion, this is one of the best podcasts Dave has done. I am a huge fan of Eric, but in other podcasts, you can see a lot of the guests stay in this very schoolbook mode in explaining things to certain terms, even though Dave went to school himself and has the credentials, Eric is a fresh breath of air. Dave and Eric when they first started were complete bros in the gym, and them talking about the cat food, T nation articles, and the dumb shit they did in the gym you saw Dave and Eric just acting like children in the ways of laughing, at ease, and just enjoying a conversation about humble beginnings. It was so cool to hear both of these guys just having a conversation. Thank you, Dave & Elite FTS team, for the content, education you provide, and equipment you make. Thank you, Eric, for providing me the MINDSET TO HORSECOCK SOME WEIGHT. You two are legends to the community.
@@Jmack7861they didn't use it wrong tho. Effort and intensity have overlapping definitions. If you're doing a very high effort lift, that's going to be intense. And you're over here saying "% of 1rm" while Eric is literally laughing about people that think you have to train that way in this podcast
It has officially come full circle when sticky Ricky tells Dave he did the JM diet with the pizza, olive oils, the whole nine yards. That just made my day 😂
Thank you for the early release!!!!! Eric Bugenhagen is a great man and an inspiration. Just blasting wintersun, screaming, Jefferson deadlifting in the rat’s nest It’s a MINDSET 💪🏻
Happy to see how far Eric’s came. I’ll never forget the basement videos and how he inspired me to do behind the back deadlifts. The fact he made it to WWE is incredible too.
Wrestling is a sport that makes yo u realize when u get to college that you can’t rlly go pro and you have to kind of stop pursuing your dream to get a job. It’s great to see someone really take it all the way. As a member of the wrestling community, we’re proud of u eric! U did it
Eric is one of the most underrated lifters on RU-vid. Dude has done some insane stuff and he has the best attitude towards training. I’d take him over Jeff Nipples or Dr. Mike any day
I love how Dave started just tolerating the constant laughter, then about the time cat food came up he was joining in. Eric HAS to be an actual trickster god or something. Someone else said "entity of chaos" or something and it's so true.
Boogs is the realest dude in the fitness community, I've been following him for about 6 years now and I've learned countless things from him. Don't ever change bro.
Loved the conversation! It was an absolutely amazing experience listening to the podcast. Eric is truly a huge inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing this with us! 🙌
hardwork and intensity is totally underrated. Anyone can find tried and tested programs and over analyse their form ad infinitum, but hard work and intensity is the currency that buys strength
Been watching Del Hog since 2018 and it’s beautiful too see the top chook, receive the shine he so deserves. Fricken love this bloke, a life changed by golden tidbits. Stay Sticky Rick and thanks for having him Dave
Man, this is the greatest thing ever. I think Dave went into this thinking he had pretty much seen and heard it all... Didn't take long to realise that he hadn't :D
I was there both days, what a amazing show! Maxine Boudreault tenacity on the log and axel medley is why this sport is so inspiring! Watching events where so many athletes struggle reminds the fans constantly that it's the heaviest show on earth.
Watching Dave and Eric laughing so much had me rolling while Dave trying to be semi serious throughout with Eric dying in his chair. As a more inward person like Dave its very relatable, hilarious stuff.
Today I went to the super market to buy protein powder (to try before buying online) and I couldn’t find any… So I went to their customer office to ask if they could check on their computer if they have protein powder by typing “protein”. And the girl told me “Well, when I type that, all the results are about cat food” I laugh more than I should have to.
The fire he has and how he lifts has completely inspired me to go harder with every work out. Many people have that one person thats their hero the boogs is that for me.
Eric is the coolest. And a huge inspiration, he's in the back of my head every workout. Thanks for the interview. PS I'm curious what camera was used, it looks like it was having issues with the frame rate
Hearing about the cat food made me think of the aunt Edna cat food jello mold from Christmas Vacation movie and having a vision of Eric digging into it 😆
1:59:21 Ricky, try insulating your garage door. Used to live in Florida and dealt with the same issues. They sell the large sheets at Lowe's, just cut to size. There's plenty of videos on here for advice.
First. Nice colab Rick and Dave. Rick is a great guy. Very strong. Dave should teach Rick conjugate. So Rick gets some more gains. He would be even stronger then. But not Like the old Westside Crew. Like Chuck , Those guys were a different breed.
The big chookade Made me rethink my diet choices 3 years ago. I went from 155 to 185 in the last three years! Just on Whole-wheat multigrain bread, ghee and peanut butter samiches ! We don't have bagels in our country 😢
