Wow…. Same here… I played this for my son when he was 3 months old.. He immediately jumped out of his baby swing and started playing… That was the last time I saw him…. He’s been touring ever since
Congratulations for being a awesome parent you raised him right you the man sir I bet you’re son has a awesome Mother also congrats to the both of you…
B B King at one of his finest along with Eric complementing him in style. As a lead guitarist for over 50 years, Al I can say is, yes, pure virtuosity, at it's best, love it. Don't get no better.
The interplay between BB and Eric is a master class in phrasing, nuance and pure musicality. Two legends of the Blues, the master BB and his devotee Eric.
BB King is just how he's named, the King of blues absolutely iconic in so many ways. Eric Clapton can play with anyone he's legendary. I'll be very sad when he passes because he's getting up there in age. 🎸🎸🎤🎤🤘🤘💯💯
Two blues greats and classic blues song. They work so well together. Sure is nice to hear it done right, in my opinion . So much of the time, blues leads have turned into really aggressive and loud, in your face guitar parts. I get tired off all the "how many notes I can get in there and it's time to show off all I do on the guitar" lead parts. So pleasing to hear it done so musically and tastefully and with such a great feel for the song. This is what makes a truly great guitar player. So often that is lost nowadays . There are a lot of players that can do some amazing moves up and down the fretboard that don't even realize they can't touch what these two do here. Kudos to Clapton and King for showing how it should be done.
When done musically, shred guitar can be amazing and interesting. That said, you have a point - the music is king - which is why Clapton and B.B. (RIP) are such legends.
B B King that is what he was a King of his instrument. Wish I could find the interview I di with him in LA way back in the sixties. Such a gentleman and so kind to a young bloke trying to find his way in la la land. Doing a tribute to his memory on JBSNIght TV show in OZ. The Thrill is never gone his memory and music live on!!!
The best with the King ❤ i will forever watch anything Eric and BB played together BB admired Eric and they had a true friendship. Mutual Respect. ❤Forever Fan ♥
TWO EPIC MUSICIANS, TWO EPIC VOICES, TWO EPIC MEN. CLAPTON CONTINUES TO DAZZLE. BB OH BEBE, THE FATHER' OF THE BLUES. YOU HAVE YOUR SEAT IN HEAVEN. IF THERE IS A ROCK N ROLL HEAVEN, THEY HAVE HAVE ONE HELL OF A BAND. 🎶🎶🎶🎼🎼🎼🎼
Two of the top 5 best guitar players ever,as well as blues singers. If these 2 are not HOF,I can fly.Extreme talent that appreciated each other for their abilities as musicians and people. Why can't we all see past color and background?
This particular performance warms my heart a lot. Every second of this one is pure. Their friendship, love & respect, their playability and the blues... No wonder the 2:07 part is the most played part of this video. Love, man. That's all imma say.
Para mí ellos son los dos mejores guitarristas de la historia, y verlos juntos guau me impresiona. Además vean la versión del croosroads del 2010 es también muy épica
I really dig this! Two of the truly greats. BB and Eric in one of the best versions of this classic blues song. Some of the best guitar work I've every seen. Long live the King!
When I was around 14 just learning how to play guitar, I went to a Swathmore Music in Media, PA and one the sales guys told me to stop trying to play a 100 notes a second and listen to BB King. He told me that BB could say more with one note then most guitarist can with a 100 notes.. man he was so right :) BB, you are a real bad ass!!
