Love how Santana and Clapton show deference to one another, great love and respect for each other over so many years....and certainly they both deserve every bit of that respect given!!!. Please Like if we all agree. Both such love and respect is obvious for each other. Sure the slashers the and a few others do deserve respect for in their own genre we can't argue the talent, but as far as longevity, the talent they've consistency,, the perfectionist quality, the example they've set constantly and consistently for both the listeners and that set for listeners and players who aspire to become the the best in this world, here stands the absolute two best professional musicians/guitarist in the world, and on one stage, smiling and enjoying a great moment together. Thank You Clapton, Santana, and GOD for giving us UCD gifted musicians and such great love.

First time I saw Carlito live was Woodstock 1969, I was 14 and Eric when he was in Blind Faith at Mad Sq Gdn/NYC in late 60's and I come back to this cause it gives me chills as I dance my way thru whenever I tune in (daily) 💚🙋🏻‍♀

Love these guys. Also my favorite guitars to play are PRS and Strat. I just got a PRS Carlos signature model, but it is really fun to see Carlos playing a Strat! And Eric is awesome on his Strat.

Saw Traffic play at the Fillmore in San Francisco early seventies. Later in the show Dave Mason came up and joined them. Then Carlo Santana came up as well. Traffic was playing a new song with an unfamiliar beat. Santana was absolutely lost, he looked like he wanted to put his guitar down somewhere.

Two masters of the minor modes that never went beyond that. Even though they are very capable players. They are still playing the same phrases they were when they started unlike some of their piers (Jeff Beck for example). I respect Eric much more now for his writing which is inspired. Like any art you (the listener), like what you like and these two have certainly earned their place in history but they have not allowed the music to take them beyond a certain point. I still appreciate what they have offered.
