It is fantastic how many logical fallacies you've managed to cram into two sentences. The first sentence is an Ad Hominem + Because I say so. The second one is an Appeal to authority + Because I say so. Please learn to think first.
@@vlatkosurlan545 There are no fallacies there. Anyone who has even a little knowledge of basic science recognizes the idiocy of Eric Hovind. Don't even try to defend him.
@@jknengr796 I am afraid that Eric Hovind is not such a big idiot as he seems to be. I suspect that (like his father) he knows very well how exceptionally idiotic his claims (or should I say, lies) are, but he states them with such confidence that he is able to convince quite a few rather gullibe Americans with no education in basic science to sponsor his organisation. And this mechanism for making money works pretty well, just think of the number of years his father spent in prison for tax evasion (tax on income earned in this way).
@@jknengr796 There are fallacies there and I've listed them quite succinctly. If you care to try and refute my claim feel free to do so but don't come at me with vacuous claims. Your second sentence is a textbook example of No true Scotsman fallacy. If you have nothing to add to the conversation it is much wiser to stay quiet.
@@erichendriks2807 Eric is not an idiot. He deconstructs evilution to the point of it's absurdity and insanity becoming plainly obvious and I applaud him for that.
@@murphy1907 Making money while doing good is a laudable thing. I don't get it why everyone is saying "trying to make money" as if though that was some kind of a dirty thing.
@Simón Dellepiane He is not misrepresenting science he is simply separating the weeds from the wheat. Evolution is nonsense and belongs in the garbage. It is unscientific, indefensible and is maintained only by the effort of militant atheists. To call evolution the foundational paradigm of modern biology is just about the most misleading statement possible. There is absolutely nothing evolution ads to biology. It is useless, refuted and should be stomped out wherever it rears it's ugly head.
Has this guy been reduced to pedaling his story at high school cafeterias? Look at those poor kids just trying to eat lunch. How would Eric feel if he were having a picnic with his family and I just stood there next to his blanket mouthing off a story about how cheese is really just scared milk?
@@ant1k You'll have to ask someone who holds that position about that. Can I assume that you've given up trying to defend Sye's silly nonsense from our previous discussion?
@@sylvesterpalys417 I do not believe that without God you have a worldview that can give value and purpose, so what is the problem with him doing this in the video?
@THE REAL are you saying that the King James version is the correct version? Which version of the KJV are you talking about. The version first published in 1611 with the apocrypha. Or the standardised text of 1769 without the apocrypha. I'm not even mentioning the 2 editions in between. Surely by droping the apocrypha you fall foul of Revelations 22:19.
@@vlatkosurlan545 so to use your argument against evolution against you. Things just dont appear. If I accept that arguement against evolution the I must accept the same arguement when levelled by evolution proponents.
@THE REAL dude seriously now, whatever you take, take less. And go get professional help befor you inflict serious physical harm to yourelf - or even worse, to your fellow human beings.
Are you fuckin serious. You can spread an opinion, which is exactly what he is doing. If it’s not a factual opinion it doesn’t become a lie. Just an unsound opinion. Which is what his whole deal is . Spouting unsound doctrine.
He knows absolutely nothing about neither evolution nor astronomy. If we were to calculate, 165,000 stars / sec with the size of the universe and the small part of the universe that we can see and the speed of light. Then we would get a result that we can see (from Earth) a new star is born every 10,000 years. To be more accurate, the chance of us seeing a star being born every year is 0.019%. So a little more than 1% chance in a hundred years. When do you think we started counting stars? Long ago, even longer than Eric thinks the Earth has existed but still not long enough to discover new stars all the time. Sorry for bad grammar, English is not my native language.
"Debating creationists on the topic of evolution is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon; it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory." -- Scott D. Weitzenhoffer
Asking an evolutionist how everything came to be: Step 1: Magic ball of flammable gas. Step 2: BOOM! Step 3: We're here! Only an evolutionist would copy our origins from an OUTDOOR GRILL!
I think Kent was trying to hide his material assets from the government by having Eric hold them. Eric swindled his dad while his dad was swindling the IRS. There is no honor among thieves.
