@bassmangotdbluz You can also use G7 (instead of G) before the D since it acts as a "leading tone". That is frequently done in bluegrass & country tunes.

@hotwheels770 Capo @ 3rd fret (so you're actually playing in Bb) it's just I, IV, V very elementary or G, C, D if you prefer... you should be able to figure it out by watching him play it. I mean no insult; I'm guessing your a beginner because even a novice could play that progression without thinking about it. Watch his left hand; it's really simple.
