I bought some Es Accel OG's online and decided to test them out. I started skating in 1999 In the peak of the "puffy" shoes era. Definitely brings me back... But is it functional?
I had a friend who had a pair of these back in the day. I always wanted a pair I will have to try them out. I use to skate a lot of the puffy shoes but have not sense I started skating again.
Yeah sure! They are still holding up incredibly well and my feet don't hurt after skating. I can't believe I was skating paper thin shoes for so many years like Huf. Although sick brand...
They will be wayyyy fatter than the blazer mids especially around ankle and toes. You'll have more surface area of the shoe connecting with your grip tape when you flip in, flip out. They will take some getting used to. They will last much longer than blazers I feel like. I might try the es accel slims because ultimately I didn't like the extreme cushioning.
Depends on who is asking... I think they are probably loved or hated based on how extremely puffy they are. I like them for the impact and the look so I will keep skating them!
