One of the biggest sunshines in darkest 21st century year of Eurovision. I hope everyone thanks her for keeping up the Eurovision spirits when the EBU refuses to.
I feel bad for her. In 2013 and 2016, she literally shined during the voting, being funny and quick. In 2024, she was not able to do that due to the arena’s reaction. Her interactions with the spokespersons from each country were not that delightful. You could’ve tell that she wanted all this to end up as soon as possible. I truly feel for her cause she doesn’t deserve this. I’m 💯 sure that she won’t be back as a presenter if Sweden will win again and I truly understand her 😔
@@camilocorail She has had problems with her back for a very long time, and last year it got worse, and she had to cancel her own stage shows and quit her job hosting "Let's Dance" (Sweden's version of " Strictly Come Dancing ). She also had a baby in 2022, so she's been on maternity leave as well as sick leave.
Poor Petra! During the voting her energy was off but she kept it together. the atmosphere in the hall was different and during the jury results there were some callers calling for peace and human decency. And she just stood there, not being able to react and just keep it moving. This was a difficult eurovision but the swedes put on a great show.
@@latse3777 why is that important? They showed it, that’s the weird part. And what was Loreen doing with that dentist chair? And don’t get me started on the ABBA c*ckhold.
She is a living legend, an icon and this year...a true hero, only her, her lightn, kindness and talent could saved this edition, all respect, admiration, grattitude and love to her❤❤❤❤❤
As I was watching the singers do their postcards, I legitimately kept talking about what I would have done if I got my own, and it coincidentally turned out to be *exactly* like Petra's. It felt so good knowing someone has the same sense of humour as me!
ik didn't think it was a good when compared to the 2016 contest felt that maybe it needed another presenter. That interval act she did with mans was spot on. i know she has been having health issue, or maybe swedish tv had blown the budget it didn't seem so good and that was mainly production
i felt like it was because it was really intense in the arena with everything going on and it must’ve been terrible standing on that stage during everything that’s happened, she did her absolute best and she served
Was this shown during the boradcast??? I havent seen it! Was it during one of the commercial breaks? Our national tv station had their own commericial breaks!
@@masterpiece5317 exactly because whenever they stopped "for a break" our broadcaster goes to a commercial break. Thats why then i didnt see it. Thanks!
At least the hosts tried to make us happy, to improve Eurovision 2024 at least. They’ve done their best to keep the audience content, and so did the contestants. Well, not the executives though, they ruined the event.
The managers did not destroy the event. The ones who destroyed the event are the contestants who chose to spread hatred and politics, and the city of Ramalmo is also not a good choice.
@@user-gi3yk6gv7n You cannot be serious? 1. Politics and the ESC belong together. Whether you like it or not, whenever this many countries are together in a fucking competition (for crying out loud), there's bound to be politics. 2. Why do you think the contestants were so unruly this year? Have you considered that they might just be displeased with the organization? The inclusion of Israel and the exclusion of The Netherlands only show that they have double standards. The EBU was, and still is, in their statement, blind to what happens outside their rainbow-tinted world. They attempted to silence, distort and hide unpleasant ideas. Contestants were dissatisfied with this, obviously. If you want to play a fair game, then the referee should also be unbiased, no? It's far too easy to blame the players for how the referee metes out judgment. 3. Whoever did the crisis communication at the EBU should be fired. As someone with some knowledge of that field, that person did a fucking horrible job.
so funny. a highlight BUT. eurovision really needs 3 presenters. think last few shows UK/ Italy/Israel. Its too much weight for only 2 presenters. and this was a heavy year. could see the stress on her face
