Thank you for this excellent video. After more than 30 years of service to the Watchtower Society, it is not easy to realize that 30 years have been wasted for nothing.

Brandy, thank you so much for sharing this video! I left the organization 25 years ago, best decision of my life. Still struggle with mind control situations. Just stopped attending AA meetings/realizing the similarities.

I was in the same DOOMSDAY CULT of Jehovah's Witnesses and left after 50 years as well as most of my family and friends. I wish you nothing but sincere and great success. Congratulations 👏. Your so brave Brandi, I always wished that sisters could give public talks, be elders and ministerial servants it always annoyed me they couldn't, the meetings could have been so much more interesting but Jehovah is a male chauvinist. I,m now studying primatology the study of apes and evolutionary biology it,s so fascinating. It dawned on me that evolution is the truth and that probably means no resurrection from the dead for anybody ,so that means no pet panda unless I break into a zoo and steal one .Justin Porter ex jw ❤️

I’m so very happy that your husband is supportive of your path. I was only in the religion for 5 years (although I was introduced to it many years ago and believed it) and I cannot imagine trying to build a healthy life after being born-in. It’s major reconstructive surgery. Looking forward to seeing more of your brave progress. ❤

A lot of your story resonates with me! I too shunned my mother and brother but inside of me told me it was wrong the whole time. I lost out on time with them because of these misinterpreted rules.

Higher education brews critical 🤔 and the GB does not want you to think, they want to think for you. If you notice Elders send their children to 4 Year Universities all the time. They just do it 2 years at a time. In our Congregation all the Elders have been to 4 year Universities, except 1. And he is A rich businessman from Nigeria, who loves 💰 money. Funny how that Elder who has the most money, is the top Elder, yet we are told it is a body of Elders. But behind the scenes, it is not what we are lead to believe. So the head Elders best friend was having an affair with the neighbors wife, for over a year he would spend many nights on business trips, my wife told his wife this is not normal conduct for a man who loves sex to spend up to 3 months away! 😒 Another neighbor finally sent a video of her husband kissing this woman good bye as he left the next morning. He was caught, but since he was a good friend of the head Elder, do you think he was disfellowshipped, not at all, he was publicly reproved, and a year later representing the Congregation in prayer. Favoritism is ripe inside the Congregations, if you belong to their group or cliques you will be treated better. 😉 this guy was having an affair for over a year, yet he was not disfellowshipped. My wife and I got married when they told me not to, we were immediately disfellowshipped by these same Elders. No mercy, even though we begged for their mercy. So is what we did as bad as the good friend of the main Elder, so much worse than having a lengthy affair with someone else's wife? One Elder on our judicial has a single sister who had sex with a worldly man, and got pregnant during the pandemic. She actually gave birth, and no one in the Congregation knew about it. After the birth they announced she was publicly reproved. Lost her privileges for 3 months, then was answering at meetings again as they paraded the baby over zoom after the meetings holding the baby up kissing the child. The Grandmother Making a big deal over her grandchild. The Elders actually hid the pregnancy from the Congregation for over 9 months! But my wife and I getting married was so bad we had to be disfellowshipped. Even though we begged for 🥺 mercy. That is how it is now inside with so called loving shepherd's watching over us. Critical thinking is 🔑 🗝 🔐 to unlocking spiritual understanding. It tells us sexual abuse against children us not only a sin, but a serious crime that needs to be reported to the authorities who have the expertise to handle such criminal cases. I do not know any Elders qualified to handle a serious crime like pedifilia. Yet they all are key to believe they are. We still have Elders critisising the Catholic Church for covering up pedifilia on social media, when Jehovah's Witnesses are just as bad or worse than the Catholic Church, and that is a fact, not a lie. Sorry for my rant 😅 but your children are not safe in this organisation as it is ran today.
