I am an ESFP from Somalia. I currently live in Mississauga, Canada. I have a bachelor degree in Psychology. Worked as a teacher and university lecturer. Did some other roles in the education sector. I think I oscillate between creative and harmonizing subtypes. I had definitely moments where I was kind of dominant subtype. Anyway, it was a great episode guys. Thanks

Kevin here, ESFP and recent profiler trainee. I’m in that career transition phase that Antonia is talking about but have felt that I’ve needed to embody that Normalizing presence most of my life and thus far in my career (lots of corporate desk jobs). In the last couple of years, I’ve felt a thirst to be more stimulated and expressive in the world and am feeling drawn to the Creative style

Thank you Kevin for sharing your experience. Next time I see you at a Profiler Training event or other activity - you should share more about what this would look like. Appreciate the comment. ~ Joel

Hi, Kathrine, ESFP here. I think I might be between the harmonising and normalising subtype. I have been working in the social worker field for 10 years. But now I am signed of work with stress. I want to work with something that is not so emotionally challenging in the future I think. Maybe I want to try sales or working with tourism. In my free time I love doing yoga, being in nature and dancing. Love your work so much🙏

Thank you both for everything you do. I have learned so much and I am able to help my wife understand herself (ESFP) and she grows and feels more confident all around.

According to Gulenko, as a whole Alpha (SFJ-NTP) Quadra Harmonizing, Beta Quadra (STP-NFJ) Dominant, Gamma Quadra (SFP-NTJ) Creative, and Delta Quadra (NFP-STJ) is Normalizing. Keep in mind, In Socionics what mbti calls ISFPs are in the Alpha Quadra. ISTJs Beta. ISFJs Gamma. And ISTPs Delta.

Hi ENFP here, I listened to this to get an understanding of my grown ESFP son. He’s definitely been more of a Creative sub type growing up, loved the social aspect of school but hated sitting still. I understand what you mean by lack of discipline but from what I’ve seen when they find their passion and what they are good at they don’t have a problem being disciplined in that area. For my son it’s his sport and all the training and lifestyle decisions around that he is very disciplined. I also found it interesting as he mentioned only this weekend he wants to start reading some good leadership books as he wants to develop that part of his character, so he’s already naturally trying to tap into the dominant part of his character. Any suggestions on leadership books for a creative ESFP very much appreciated 😊
