Everyone says istj are Cops Or Definitely not musicians That's definitely not true at all but if u let a feeling type write the standards , of course they'll perceive it that way

My ISTJ spouse is a professional musician but definitely considered the academy and still laments not joining the military out of HS

I believe the big idea behind this podcast is that it is extremely important for ISTJ’s to aspire their Ne Inferior function to grow; as Antonia mentions here: Put yourself into different situations to gain the ability to be flexible. -a dominant leaning ISTJ who is finding creative footing

You didn't mention musicians. Hell lot of ISTJ musicians out there, they prefer classical, jazz, soulful, r'n'b, instrumental music, but especially, they thrive in electronic dance music. The age we are living in is in favour for them musically. Also, you didn't mention professional dancers. Dancing is another career where ISTJs can thrive.

My ISTJ spouse is a professional musician but still very much shows the stereotype - technical mastery is on point, very precise but has been told many times that she needs to grow by just flowing and allowing her creativity and passion to shine and it is a skill that doesn’t come hard for the average musician
