If I stack into mag, I play a mag race, would I need to switch out any gear for light armor and change cp? Or would everything pretty much stay the same?
Everything is mostly the same. So no changes to CP, but you may find it harder to sustain, so you could swap out a few pieces for light if you need to. This might also be helpful, but please let me know if it’s not or anything is still unclear. Hey Regularnoobs! Sorry I thought I replied to this almost a day ago… So definitely not a dumb question, but no, you cannot get those in light. Typically most gear only drops in one weight, with a few exceptions. You can take a look at gear in the collections menus as well, and that will let you know what weight things drop in. Monster sets are the main one but there are a few more sets from the thieves guild and dark brotherhood that at least used to drop in all three weights. So you would need to add body pieces of something like Whirl of the depths.
@@ZackLin571 high elf won’t change what skills you spec, but it will change which resource is better to stack. Height elves get around 250 extra spell power and another 2k mag (which is ~200 spell power). So you either loose 200-450 spell power or you can stack mag & spell power. Deleted that, I was remembering wrong. I checked my parses & with a friend, and it’s Riptide > depths > yandir > ansuul for trial sets. You do generally want to run a trial set if you can for the 5% minor slayer bonus.
Nah, you can use it. What kind of content are you wanting to use this in? For max Dps, I would use the new velothi mythic. For solo/survival I would use ropo.
@@Nightharrow I’m looking for a more general purpose build. I wanna crank damage for sure I was playing a build like this but magicka and felt like breaking 80k was hard so hopefully I’ll be able to pull more as stamina. I’ll try velothi whorl/deadly
Noiiiice, would the best staff to use be lightning? And would that change the CP if I did those 3 main skills + wall + some other dot or heal? OH LORD I what if I do Deadly + RuneCarver + Oakensoul + One piece SC! Would RuneCarver apply every 1 second for the beam since it applies once every 3 ticks of a dot?? I haven't tested it yet but in my head that sounds broken!
Yep, I would go with lightning since it increases aoe damage and most of ours is coming from the beam. Lightning wall would then be great for the dot and off balance. I would use Blockade though for the extra duration so you can beam more. You can stick with barbed trap in that case or use it to flex however you want.
That’s a great question. I think thunk ring of the pale order would probably be the way to go with for heals, and then add in cuz armor and remorph the beam, but I’m still playing with it. I’m working on some builds for the new endless archive, so will have more info as I do that.
If I'm taking a lot of damage, I'll pop PF then cancel it for the shield and spam CF to heal back up. It works even if there's no target to hit, so I don't equip a heal and will instead run Cruxweaver or Runeguard of Freedom.
I don't know if this works but one magicka cost reduction glyph could help with sustain since it decreases the cost of beam so it goes to 250 from 450. I do this on my dragonknight and eruption costs almost nothing.
