You're so lucky because my crush wasn't a big fan of theater so I couldn't impress him with my Horton skills. Sad times....but it's ok cause I don't have a crush on him anymore lol.

This is my absolute favorite song in the entire musical. I love that it can be sung in head voice and sound great when belting (I'm a belter 100%)! I'm auditioning for Gertrude and this song is her audition piece! Wish me luck!
So funny story aye hahah So basically I was bird girl number 2 in this musical and I was around in 5th grade, anyways, so the bird girls and I go out for this song and just the bird girls say "suddenly Gertrude could sail" but in around I think 2 shows the other birdgirls would go of stage on accident just before the line, and they left me on stage so I had the solo of my dreams, so yea thanks

Ugh, the Jr version of this is so much better! The bit with the cat interrupting the singing disrupts the flow. It's much better if the interruption is caused by the wickershams. The version with the cat makes it to gradual and spoon fed
