I'm so sick and tired of this we need to clean up the mistakes narrative, we all saw the superbowl and the chiefs who coming into that game were the most penalized team for holding all season did not get called for it once. And those times where they held were plays that were crucial in the niners losing. So please let's give it a rest already, the first loss to the chiefs in the superbowl was the same thing no holding calls smh

unfortunately we need to be better by far than the chiefs or there is no hope. We need to dominate so that the favorable calls don't lose us the game. Not to mention, the niners beat that chiefs team 6 out of 8. Everything had to go wrong to lose. Like everything, injuries, fumbles, missed extra points. Any of those things dont happen and we win.

Yup. Every other QB its, “oh he makes his receivers better. He’s why they’re so good.” That imo is Purdys biggest strength, the fact that he can utilize the talent around him better than anybody else. He’s not “married”, or dependent on one special receiver, Mahomes/Kelce or Hill, and , Brady/Gronk or Edelman, etc. Any given week another player can have a 3 td game

49ers are already better. Ill admit i said last season was their last chance but because the works of lynch and shanahan they remained consistently competitive. The 49ers somehow keep inproving but that does not mean other teams havent inproved and inproved more. Yeah 49ers fell short again but winning the big one isnt an easy task. Most fan bases havent even seen their team in the SB let alone Championship game and we as fabs have seen the 49ers do it year after year for the last 5 years

Nice coverage, thank you. Lynch moves have been as good as can be. I think they should dominate, but they don't; cohesiveness isn't possible in western culture. I'm satisfied management at least on same page, and cream will rise instead of egos, now that it's bereft of old defensive coach. No regrets nor lost opportunity. Keep the play on the field.

When a QB has a great line, a great D, great RB, WR, and TE...they look good. Once Brock gets an extension and loses half his line and skill players, you'll find out how good your QB is. I don't think Brock will be great once he's making $60 mil/yr and facing constant pressure with no McCaffrey

Why?? You’re like everybody else that tries to discredit Purdy, they talk only in hypotheticals. I mean I agree he has to show that he can maintain what he’s done over a longer time and more exposure, but there’s ZERO indication that he won’t be able to. Efficiency wise he has been to the best QB across the board, I don’t see a reason why he can’t keep up.

Listen to me now. Saints have the personnel to make that matchup a great one. Kubiak knows what they like to do, saints are 4-5 good-great db’s deep, good safeties, the linebacker group led behind demario Davis and Pete Warner now has Willie gay. 49ers are 4 receivers STRONG and saints have 4 great db’s, the linebacker group will keep eyes on mccaffrey. Laugh now but I’m telling you guys now it’s only 3 teams in the nfc 49ers have to worry about. That’s the eagles, lions and saints

49ers will need to rely heavily on play-action, if they expect to win a lot of games, simply because when you ask Purdy to throw more than 30 times per game, the odds of winning gown down A LOT!

It's really not that bad lol he's 5-3 in every game he through over 30 passes including playoffs last year so maybe watch the games or research a little, and to top that off most QB's are only asked to throw 30+ passes are when they are losing already so that stat that you tried to make in the first place doesn't really hold a lot of weight regardless.

This is the most obvious statistic. You run when you are leading and you pass when you are losing. This does not speak to how bad Purdy is but rather how bad the defense is playing. Hard to win when your defense cant make a stop.

The 49ers got better the moment the moment Steve Wilks left the building. The adds from the draft and FAs have given them a lift and depth. Needed help at CB, everyone knew it, now it’s a strength. Front office crushed the offseason. We keep BA this year, he’s a gem. Next year we’re going to lose either Deebo, BA or both.

I doubt they get rid of either next year. They have plenty of cap room from this year to roll over and Purdy's new contract won't count against the cap for 2 seasons.

The 49ers are not going to get rid of either wr in the next 2 seasons. They have plenty of cap space this year and that rolls over into next year. Purdy's new contract will not affect the cap until 2026. They are set for 2 more years to try to keep this core together for the next 4-5 years. I do think they get rid of Deebo in the 2026 off season though, as he will be more than likely beat up and a lot less productive by then.

The OL is still a B- unit. Pearsall doesn’t fix that weakness. Rookie OL seldom are high impact players. Offense is not substantively better bc the draft. Full offseason for Brock is the biggest reason for optimism.

Maybe the NFC feared it but the entire AFC is tough as hell. I would say the AFC is way better than the NFC.. I like the AFC cause I loves me some defense. @zunniii agreed, packers are going to be way under rated. They stepped up and went 15 rounds with the niners. I was already concerned going into that playoff game last year. Young team with nothing to lose and no expectations. I actually don't expect Detroit to repeat last year. Packers are the biggest challenge this coming season in the nfc. Signed niners fan!

This is terrible content, stop kissing up the 3 times Super Bowl loser Kyle Shanahan and apply some football logic. 9ers did not lose SB because they lack explosive play, rather it's because they cannot consistently get 4-5 yard per rush when they need a first down. And this is why 9ers should have upgraded its O-line, especially the right tackle and right guard.

Nobody will be scared of us until we have a QB who can step up and deliver those clutch tds. For the past 5 fucking years we have been in the same spot. Top 5 roster but we have lacked a Qb that will step up put the team on his back and deliver those clutch game sealing drives. I swear I’m tired of this same story. We are the same as the cowboys.
