A very honest review. Have just purchased a pair, partially based on your review, and I'm glad I did. Took me a few minutes to work out the closure system (more how to open the closure system for removal) and a little bit of bedding in to stop the lining shifting when I was taking them off. All sorted now and I'm happy out. I just can't ride with cold hands or cold feet.. at least I have my hands sorted now. A fantastic glove, even if a bit bulky, and I'd recommend them to anyone. They will absolutely keep you warm and dry in the worst of weather.

Thanks for the review, to be honest the reason I purchased these gloves was Primaloft Insulation. Primaloft retains heats extremely well especially when there is an external heating source. I will be using these with heated glove liners and highly doubt that my hand will be cold. The price tag did not concern me, I accepted long ago that certain garment technology or materials you simply have to pay for, either you want to be warm and dry or a variation of the previous.

Nice review but ouch, that price! Re your point of putting gloves back on with dampish hands, I have to say that I have yet to find a pair of lined gloves that don't do that, it is a real pain. Keep up the good work! 👍

Yes that's a real downside but in my view they have proved worth the price....so far. Rode over the Easter weekend in the tipping rain for 200 miles and over 3 hours and the outsides were dripping but my hands stayed perfectly dry and ward inside. On that ride I would've paid double the cost to have had that!!! Thanks for watching.

Great review thanks! Are they a bonded made glove (ie. the gortex and other layers are bonded together to give a thinner more tactile fit and feel)? From you saying that the finger lining 'pulls out' I'm guessing that they are not (or did I miss understand that)? May I ask (as you seem like a seasoned rider), have you tried heated gloves at all? Or the battery/hybrid heated gloves? Would appreciate your take on this. Thanks, keep up the good work.

I'm not entirely sure but would make the same assumption as you have that they are not bonded. They are a thick large glove and it does reduce your feel to the bars especially compared to a summer glove, but they are bloody warm and I'm happy with the bulkiness compromise to keep my fingers warm. "May I ask (as you seem like a seasoned rider)..." - lol nice of you to say, but in reality I've only had a full license for 3.5years now and only ridden about 50k miles on a bike, but I do ride all year round. Not tried heated gloves for two reasons. 1. the ones that plug into power from your bike I don't like due to trailing wires and additionally strain on the bike's electrics 2. the ones with batteries feel heavy on the hand to me (but you might not thibnk they are heavy) and plus you have to remember to charge the batteries and they last only a few hours. For these reasons I go for the big thick winter glove with heated grips. Works best for me. thanks for watching

Those gloves need a visor wiper on the left hand index finger. Edit: All bike gloves need a finger wiper.

Personally I've never had gloves with a finger wipe and never found it a problem. I do have a VISORCAT (www.visorcat.com) which I can use on any glove. Thanks for watching.

The glove has suede, a snot wipe if you like, to wipe the visor with.
