Still new(ish) to motorcycling, and in my 40s, these are my trials, tribulations and experiences of my motorcycling life up to now.
On this channel you'll find "First ride" reviews, "How To" guides, some of my favourite routes and roads, moments of motoring madness, strange sightings and my ramblings on a whole host of subjects!!
I currently ride: Honda VFR1200X Crosstourer 2017 Honda CBR1000RR SP Fireblade 2018
My old bikes are: Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade 2016 Honda CBR650F 2015 Honda CBF125 2013
Bought my crosstourer 2 months ago and have done 5500 miles ;) much love from WV. PS I watched your video before I bought mine and it helped lead to me buying mine!
They do this confusing to hurt people in purpose and take the money from them the biggest mafia and corruption in london and people work so hard and has to pay so many things they struggle a lot to survive in london this is not right special to motorcycles a lot of penalty’s for no reason specially for parking is well
I started riding in aug last year, then stopped oct cuz snow. I thought of wearing earplugs when riding but not sure how I would talk to my riding buddies ( we dont have coms yet) Think I might start wearing htem now though lmao
A good video, thanks for sharing. Disappointed with Oxford quality though, the cable connectors are rubbish, the pins push back out when connecting the cables! (their battery charger/conditioner connectors are the same poor quality).. I found fitting the throttle grip fiddly and a bit of a pain filing it down to make it fit .. 🙃😊. Well done for the video. 👍
great vid love the cbr 1000rr never been on i have a 600cbr currently and i really want the 1000rr so this vid has put alot in to prospective thanks :)
I've actually watched this a few times and I really love your presentation delivery style.. it's relaxing and goes at the right pace it's also extremely informative in a very natural way. Great job mate..! I've had my CBR650F since August 2023 and I'm really pleased with it.. I had a CBR600F back in 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed that while I had it, then didn't ride a bike at all for a while so it was nice to get back on a mid range sports/tourer.😊😎👍🏾
What is it with those new to biking that talk about a 650cc 4 cylinder machine with decent power and torque (torque being the surge you feel when twisting the throttle) as if they are 50cc scooters. It's not a "beginner bike" whatever that is. I think it's crept in from the American view that motorcycle ownership is some sort of ladder that you have to climb to the top of to demonstrate your prowess. That's total bollox. Bottom line is that all bikes are fun and all bikes need respect, just enjoy the bike you have, get out, ride, hone your skills and love riding. That aside, nice to see the westcountry countryside and thanks for taking the time to make the video.
Hey mate, don't know if you will ever read this comment but I need your help. So I have a cb650r year 2020. Today a cleaned the rear brake pads and I did what you just did in the video but the brakes don't work. It doesn't let me brake if you know what I mean. Hope you can help me or have some tips, thx for your time.
Great videos mate! Thanks for your time and knowledge sharing. I’m going to attempt the same maintenance and searching in the nissin break pads web they indicate that the oem brake pads are not sintered and states that you must not use sintered pads if your clipped doesn’t fit them as oem. Have any of you ever heard of that? Did you noticed anything weird while breaking? TIA
What’s even more of a waste of money is this bloody central reservation upgrade. How much have the delays cost the economy? Millions id imagine and for what, who cares if the barrier is concrete or steel?
Great video. Actually considering selling my “new” bike and picking one of these up. Arguably peak Fireblade. Not all about peak power and it is more useable on the road than the latest models.
See this is where I’m at also .. this gem model is way better as far road riding than the new gen cbr. Plus to me this is one of the best looking bikes even now!
Got a 2018 CBR650F two months ago, your video just about sums it up pretty spot on. Which mirror extenders did you get? I've had a few bikes with poor rear mirror vision but the 650F is maybe the worst.
it was a money saving idea to save them spending fortune making the motorway wider ! i drive a classic car and if i brake down it would be like a death wish waiting for someone not seeing me last min and taking out me and my car as i cant pull over any more off the motorway onto any sort of hard sholder , when more people are killed in lane one cos they couldn't get out the way i hope they feel proud of themselves !! stupid idea putting peoples lives at risk for 4 lane motorways we dont need !!
