I'm from the Chicago Area @mass1208 I've been to Ann & Robert H Luries Children's Hospital or Chicago and they use EST Genesis like in the rooms they have Chime/strobes but in their hallway they have speaker/strobes
It's a speaker/strobe, it has no horn. As for why it's not outputting a message or tone, I guess the system had been silenced by the time the uploader started videoing it (either that or the system works differently to how most voice systems are set up).
@@mixleaves i think edwards has slow whoop and trilingual english messages for these voice evac message like this one but not in Massachusetts because Massachusetts uses code 3 tone only instead which meets 900hz but I couldn't find the 900hz tone for Massachusetts except siemens should do that.
I think I could’ve seen one of those things… well… somewhere in Malaysia , I think… I think… in Kuala Lumpur or Langkawi… Or maybe in Dubai in the United Arab States or something… Idk. But I could’ve seen familiar-looking fire alarms there… I… think… Idk.
