When you have update esthetic practical exam for 2021, please make a video and help new candidates to prepare their next exams. It's very helpful and appreciated for your hard work!❤👍
This video helped me a lot! It was great to have a visual of the practical before my exam since I've been done with school since May. Today I passed and am now licensed! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for doing this public service for we hopeful estheticians! I failed my practical and I'm going to retest next week. Your video is on a continuous loop! I just have one question... Do we have to individually label all of the makeup products in our makeup bag? I'm seeing some videos on RU-vid where they've labeled the makeup bag with several separate labels, clearly using a label maker, to denote the various items within the bag. Thank you very much for any clarity!🙏🙏🙏
I took my practical on Sept 30, 2020 and missed passing by 17 points. But I’m retaking it again Friday Oct 16th. This is really helpful because I needed a refresher course.. I was extremely nervous . My proctor was very stern. But I have confidence that I’ll pass this time around.
@@brigit6915 during the microdermabrasion portion you will place the mask OVER your mask and once you’re done performing micro you will remove the top mask and continue to wear yours. Hope that makes sense
Yes, In VA it has. We now cannot use spray disinfectants, only disinfectant wipes. If we can't find the due to covid, we can use baby wipes with a downloaded copy of an EPA registered disinfectant label. Masks stay on the whole time too
@@tawaesthetique1599 I would suggest looking for the VA exam specifically. All states have their own rules and regulations which can differ from other states.
Taking state board in about a month, so happy I found this video! I'm in GA so hopefully its similar to CA. Question, did you use anything for the simulated wax like gel or lotion?
So u just have 2 brown lined bags instead of 3? since u have the items to be disinfected container that is considered universal ..? I didn’t know that..
Also , why does it say cleansing of the face when it's supposed to be for client 2? And why does the hand sanitizer just magically appear on the work station?
You don’t need an extra separate sma on top of the first sma for the items of each service ? one for cleanse items one for exfoliating items and one for massage items ?
I saw a conference video on the state board website where they say you need to do eyelash glue patch test behind the ear , start January 1,2021 How would you do a patch test for that ?
I think sometimes the CA kit company supplies you another one but I’m not sure. If you’re packing your own kit you could pack 2. I’m not 100% sure but I think you would put it in the items to be disinfected, sanitize, and then pretend that you’re cutting it
I went there for a haircut, and the waxing dept needed a model volunteer to do legs waxing and bikini wax. They asked if I would be interested...I was nervous being a male but they told me I would be wearing proper underwear and all so I went for it
@@bobbychahal1170 the state of California has allowed beauty services across the state and state board has continued administering examinations. If you pass your state board exam next week, you should be able to start working right off the bat!
They had me pose sideways with my butt sticking out to them and the disposable bikini was so wrinkled and sticky from the wax. At one point Ive heard them giggling when they they pull the strip so hard and my disposable thong ripped along leaving nothing to the imagination with my bits sticking out while Im laying on the table sideways
