I had the amazing opportunity to sing with an Estonian choir two years ago and the history of their journey to Independence is really interesting. We watched a documentary and they told us about how Estonia gained independence from the USSR by singing, so music is a huge part of their culture, which is really cool. And almost all the Estonians cried watching the documentary, showing how patriotic they were. Estonians are such beautiful and talented people and I wish people knew more about this beautiful country and their interesting history. Their love for singing is really no joke

As an Estonian, I approve of this message. Also , the song festivals are a huge deal, every time it happens dozens of choirs compete to be able to be under the huge arch and besides all the people in the choirs there are hundreds of people enjoying the festival as well. It's a huge gathering. There is also a dance festival where performers dance traditional dances.
