Straight up, offending people isn't inherently bad, you don't need to apologize for "OFFENDING" . I'm OFFENDED by religious groups, but they haven't done shit to me. This fake ass apology is OFFENSIVE but that literally matters for fuck all. What matters is this chick is a piece of shit to animals, and likely, people.

It's so lame. It's similar to saying "sorry you feel that way". It's not a genuine apology. Just a way of twisting the situation and pitying the other people for their emotions towards the situation instead of actually apologizing and owning her actions.

She spit on a dog. It's wrong but I doubt it physically hurt the dog.

Yeah I agree, if you can’t say “I’m sorry for what I did and that my actions hurt people” then don’t apologize. There’s no need for the words or waste of breath.

Dogs aren't chiuldren though. I'm a dog trainer and I tell owners all the time that it's not healthy to look at a dog companion as a child, they're not. I also used to work at a Pitbull rescue shelter in South Florida, and I can tell you right now, what this girl did was ignorant and stupid, but it wasn't "animal abuse". It was, quite frankly, the typical reaction of most uneducated dog owners towards their canines misbehavior. Yea, that's right. Hate to break it to you but if you think this girl is a "dog abuser" then 90% of dog owners on the planet are dog abusers as well. I guarantee you that her dog was still properly fed, given water, had a bed to sleep in, is up to date with shots, is regularly bathed, and is still loved by this girl. She just needs some help from a trainer on how to properly handle her dogs bad behaviors. Calling this girl a "dog abuser" is your typical internet outrage over reaction, just about like everything else the internet gets outraged over. I understand, and it's somewhat justified, but she's still not a dog abuser. Just an ignorant amateur dog owner who needs some help.

If this were an example of 90% of dog owners she would not have been ratioed as she was. She knew what she did was wrong which is why she heavily edits the video, and why she previously put up the front of "oh I don't physically disappoint my dog" (something of that nature) on social media. You don't need the experience to know to treat something respectfully, you need morality.

Yea, that's over the top and frankly, absurd. This girl is stupid, but what she did WAS NOT "animal abuse". I think for people to throw that word around does a serious disservice to dogs who actually go through REAL and severe animal abuse. I'm a professional dog trainer, I own a dog walking/pet caretaking business as well in the city of Boston, I also have worked for a Pit Bull rescue shelter down in south Florida. I've seen real animal abuse. I've been up all night crying due to some of the things I've seen. Spitting on your dog is a shitty thing to do, like it's an obnoxious, bitchy thing, but it's not "abuse". I'm sure the dog was fed, given water, bathed, and is still loved by this girl, but yes, the girl needs to control her reactions to her dogs misbehaviors. I think people reacting to this as it's "abuse" is just a typical internet outraged reaction, and in allot of respects I agree with them, the girl is a public figure and she was caught doing something stupid, if she doesn't want public outrage don't be a public figure.
