So he just shows up, goes to the nether, somehow dies to a cactus of all things, and then just leaves. There's probably a logical way that happened, maybe.
@@marino7544im not 100% sure, but If it would've been a berry bush it would've specified that "Etho was pricked to death by a sweet berry bush" so it would have had to been cactus or something

@@taytaythehufflepuff8532 Ya, it was. Beef shows him dying to a cactus at the end of that part to get back to spawn since Etho had nothing and that was the fastest way back.
I love etho so much. I haven't played minecraft in years and dont watch any minecraft content since ages. Etho is the only youtuber I have consistently watched for around a decade. The dude NEVER asks for likes or subscribing, there is NO clickbait or thumbnails. The titles are just numbered and the thumbnail is a frame of the video. Etho is minecraft content in its purest form. He kept so true to his roots. God I love the way he does the stuff that he does!
I love that the context for his deatg is that this was when Beef asked Etho to roll his stats for the Hermitcraft TCG that Beef's making and he returned to spawn (I assume) by backing into Beef's little cactus farm
My favourite thing about Etho is, way back in the day, I mean way back, not long after I got Minecraft, I was looking at people play it, and I found this one guy, only a couple videos, on YT, making a boat highway under an ocean, with this (at the time) super complex redstone mechanism to deploy boats, watched his stuff for a few episodes before moving on to others. Years later I stumble across Etho, and there's something about him that's super familiar, go searching, same dude. Always have a chuckle that I stumbled across Ethos 3rd video or something, then come back after he really picked up
I used to not be able to tell them appart when I first started watching hermitcraft. Now their voices sound completely different to me. I don’t get it.

He's been on a decline in interest to play which makes complete sense. Not surprising he joined the server a month ago and only has 2 episodes. I think the last few years he's only had like 3 episodes per server and then doesn't upload much after.
Thats how most my friends operate. Join, play for half an hour, die, complain about how they have no good gear, leave, never come back. Like, you idiots, you need to PLAY to get better gear, it doesn't just come to you magically.
This was during the recording of Vintage Beef’s episode 19. He went into the Nether to get to Beef’s map (trading card game) making base. Then, he stood against a cactus to return to spawn quicker after recording his stat rolls with Beef.
