In this final video of EU4 the war academy, I discuss some advanced strategies. These include how to fight when outnumbered, how to fight as efficiently as possible, and which enemies to fight in the first place.
I saw this blue dot on my subscribtions list next to Reman's channel and I was like: WHAT?! Then I'm checking his channel and I was thinking that nothing changed, no new video was added and then I realized he's continuing his War Academy (thumbnails are the same in the old videos), that was sneaky af lmao
@@Gosciu733 At first i was like "Oh cool, Reman's Academy series popped up in my recommended". Then i went wide-eyed once i realized it was uploaded a day ago.
Another tip I have: This is generally more useful in areas with lots of small nations that get a good amount of small allies. You can win wars you numerically shouldn't by preventing their armies from uniting into one doomstack. you'll want to have more troops than each of their stacks individually (building a few troops over fl is fine) and defeating them. You want to morale wipe them asap and then drop a regiment each on their provinces. Start sieging them down 1 by 1 and boom, you just won a war. On the topic of sieges, you only want to have the number of troops you need to siege the fort + 1 on it, and leave the rest of your stack in a province neighboring it. Saves you manpower, especially in regions with high attrition
I was cleaning out my subs just last week, when I came to him I hovered other the unsubscribe button but just couldn’t bring myself to press it. I’m so glad I didn’t now
Tbh, snaking forts and such is why I always play casually. I love creating nice clean borders more then expanding in whatever means necessary. Also wb, glad to see you back honestly. :)
I know right?! I want my nation to be stable and look that way too. Besides, the number of states in my kingdom has a cap so I will take intact states any day.
@@champnotchicken4318 no we need him more NOW it's 2020 and as we all know 2020 is horrible the suicide rate has gone up 10 fold we had a disease outbreak sure not a plague but still not good not to mention everyone is fine with Chicago being segregated in 2020 wait everyone has been fine with that for decades so uh that's ok? At least a cording to BLM at least since there not protesting it.
I'm so glad you are back man, we need your knowledge! It would be really cool to have some CK2 videos now that you are back, managing vassals, eugenics, marraige game, wars, tactics, retinues, holdings, etc.
This is the only channel I ever turned notifications on for, just in the slight hope that it would one day come back from the dead. Glad to see you're back and giving us great content again.
I literally shed a tear at the end of the video out of sheer joy of watching another of Reman’s brilliant uploads! Man it’s great to hear your calm and rational voice again 😊👍
Wtf never thought I'd see the day Edit: I know that you just got back, but is it possible to do a video about the more tactical/microing part of war in eu4? That's what I feel I need to work on the most especially when trying to move more into mp games.
Honestly, it just comes with practice. Draw your opponent into a situation where they cant be easily reinforced, then pounce with a larger stack. Then chase down smaller stacks before retreating and do it all again.
@@SuperNintendawg Practice needs direction. I've got the Three Mountains achievement (plus 210 others) and I'd say I still suck at drawing opponents into those situations.
I am exceptionally glad you're back. It was getting to the point where I had nostalgia for watching your new videos back in 2017. You were an incredible resource for a new player like me, and you continue to be an incredible resource. I cannot overstate your value to the EU4 community, and in terms of raw quality, you are among the greatest channels in the platform.
Welcome back man, 2 years ago your videos helped me get to grips with this incredible game and I'm very thankful for that. Keep up the content, make sure it's good quality, we'll keep watching!
I don't think there is another PDX content creator whose content I look forward to more, not even my own! So glad to see you finally putting out another video, excellent as always! Especially loved the chill music :)
It's a bit out of date game version wise, but DDRjake's "40 Years of War Against the Ottoman Empire" is a good case study in many of the fundamental strategies for taking on a superior force. Love the video Reman, Cheers!
My headcanon is Reman was trapped in a time void. When the protests happened someone caused enough chaos enough that a rat pressed a button that released him from the void.
When I saw this first in my feed I was like: what, YT dug something from a year or two to recommend me? Than I saw: posted 4 hours ago... NO WAY! Reman's back! Yay!
