Hey Kevin, nope, you'll be able to access it from any country without making any changes. I was able to monitor all my cameras when I was in Shenzhen last year without issue. Thanks for watching 😀
@@DemCrumblies Great! Thank you for the quick response. I also have Blink camera, so I don't need to change the Country setting in Blink app account either, right?
According to eufy, it says "To reset eufy indoor/outdoor cameras, press and hold the Sync button for 10 seconds until you hear two beeps. The Sync button is usually located at the back of the device. The camera will be restored to its default settings."
@@drualdi4362 I believe around 15 to 20 meters or 50 to 65 ft, but it will really depend on the material the WiFi signal has to penetrate, brick, metal, wood, etc. and how many walls.
If it went offline due to low battery, it won't restart I think. If you notice many days of good sunlight that would charge it, you can check to see if it responds, if not, you'll have to take it down, charge it up in your home and reinstall it.
Looks like it still is. I just created a routine so that I could say the routine name to let it adjust the brightness and while I can see the approximate battery life on it, it either runs the routine but the brightness level remains unchanged or it says it cannot communicate, which is weird because it can see the battery life.
Hey Chris, I don't have a nest display to test viewing, but I see only 4 options in the Google Home App which are to turn it on or off, adjust brightness, start light effect (not sure what this is because there isn't any light effect) and stop light effect. Have you tried to contact eufy's chat support about the Nest display issue? Sometimes they have insight about what could be going wrong or if a fix is coming later down the line.@@Chris-rs4bh
@@DemCrumblies Currently our product supports google But temporarily do not support google home app out of the stream, we ask for your understanding. That was their response even tho the advertise that it works with Google assistant it clearly is broken.
Interesting, I never used Google Home so I'm not sure how long it was broken. Was it that way out of the box when you bought it, or did it work at some point, then stop working?@@Chris-rs4bh
I remember it took a while for me, maybe 3 to 4 hours, can't remember exactly. Best to charge it with the cable going into a power brick vs into a laptop or something. You could also charge it as much as you have patience for, add it to the eufy app and if the battery level is more than 60 to 70%, then just install it and let solar charging take care of the rest if you live somewhere with lots of sunny weather.
