The amazing part is In 8 hours the United States started the operation took out bin then flew back into Afghanistan then identified him then announced it to the world all in 8 hours like a normal work day in time to come home for dinner

a little terrifying fact about 9/11 and the following war in afghanistan: the taliban and al qaede killed more americans on that one day in 2001 then in 20 years of fighting them in afghanistan. and how a goverment can support such a guy. guess who paid, trained and supplied Osama Bin Laden and his fighters in afghanistan when the soviet union was there. if your guess was the USA via the CIA you are correct.

I absolutely love the movie Zero Dark Thirty, by far one of the most historically accurate movies ever. They even got the classified helicopter used almost spot on even though no one to this day knows what those helicopters actually look like. Definitely a movie you should watch, it's absolutely fantastic, you get a taste of how the US Navy Seals operate, about as close to tagging along on an actual mission. And it shows everything on how they found him, there is a bit of torture that never happened but other than that, it's as close as possible to real life. The crash was caused not only by the air, but the rotar wash bouncing off the walls which destroyed the lift generated by the rotars, no lift and the helicopter crashed. There are some videos out there of the sports games when the news broke, the announcers at baseball games said it over the speakers. That intelligence analyst was not fictional.

I remember when one of first navy seal went on Dateline, , and they had to put heavy, make up on him , to totally change his appearance, and I think that some of the other team members were criticizing him for doing an interview. Their conflicting reports because it was a secret mission and I think it only mattered to people that he was dead, We don't know all military secrets so that's why in my opinion . I think we should watch the video of what was on his laptop. I was pretty shocked. A lot of cartoons and entertainment, and things you would never think that he would have on there..

Of all the things to consider from this event, the one thing I always return to is thinking about what it would have been like to be Obama in the situation room hearing that one of the helicopters had crashed….I cant even imagine that feeling.

This was close to the Pakistan military academy. The Blackhawks were experimental stealth. The tail of the crashed chopper was given to the Chinese and helped them with stealth coatings. There was a heavily loaded CH-347 chopper behind to go in for a fight if the Pakistan army surrounded the compound. There was a carrier battle group off the coast to go into action.

Bin Laden's compound was NOT "under heavy guard". That would have made it conspicuous and slightly tougher. Let's not forget that the US supported BIn Laden through Pakistani surrogates during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. The Taliban was created by Pakistan's ISI.

@@Senriami have no hard proof, but i have my own circumstantial experience around similar stuff, and there is hard evidence of other things (like light human experimentation in atomic bomb testing, which exist in a few obscure court records). and the more sensitive something is, the more likely the paper trail will be off (ex: everything about the prism program). best way to keep sensitive info out of enemy hands is to ensure it doesn't exist. second best way is to falsify everything and allow alternative stories to proliferate, making it difficult to separate truth from fiction. i do this even with some of my own most closely guarded secrets (idk hardly any of my passwords and i don't know my card pin), and even used the second part to my advantage in elementary to lead my abusive classmates to think i was potentially weaker than i was so they'd hit and push me with less force.

This overview of this video is filled with inaccuracies and probably is the worst video you could have chosen to review...I realize you didn't know this but please review a more up to date version that provides the details...or watch ZERO-DARK 30 the movie...with all due respect the video you watched is BS and NOT ACCURATE
