Let me say straight away the T cab Scania is not in the video, it’s just a picture I took dockside in Caen whilst waiting to embark. Then again I didn’t drive the big white boat either & that’s in the thumbnail too 😊
That’s that then but please join me on a quick trip where I load yoghurt from a huge dairy plant up near Cherbourg then run back to Caen before crossing to Portsmouth. Unfortunately the camera battery died just as I’m explaining the last bit of how to get through all the formalities but you can get most of it 🤦🏻‍♂️.

Very interesting VLOG, the idea of trucking between continents is just mind boggling to me, Also the owner operators rig was beautiful and I wish he would have allowed you a look inside, the pathways inside the ships seem impossibly narrow but I'm sure your used to tight places, If ever possible I would enjoy a tour of a truck stop. Hi David, he let me have a quick look but I didn’t want to push for more as he was busy loading too. Looked a nice bit of kit though. Take a look at the 3 part Italian trip if you want to see some tight places 🤦🏻‍♂️. Truckstop tour is a great idea, I’ll try do one soon & thanks for watching.

Greetings 🙋🏻‍♂️ Me again, how do you pay for tolls on the various autoroutes/autostradas in the different countries you transit through, is it still done via a maut or can you now buy one box that covers all road tolls in Europe? Also, what sat nav are you using? Ta muchly 🙏🏻

Tolls are all on the toll boxes we use Darren. Occasionally you may go to a new Country that the boxes don’t cover in which case you buy one of theirs at the border. Ta for looking in mate 😊

Hi Jake, great question as Portsmouth can be a nightmare ! I nearly always just park in the docks if I’m shipping out but coming back in is the hard bit. I have a couple of spots & there’s some on FB but the whole areas not good given it’s a continental ferry port 🤦🏻‍♂️
