Even if Käärijä would've gotten the theoretical maximum of 432 public votes he still would've ended up _one point_ short of Sweden's 583. The jury gave Loreen an unbeatable lead.

Watching Käärijä's reaction was heartbreaking, he is the true winner with the most public votes EVER (excluding Ukraine last year which was great but got many votes because of solidarity too)! So grateful to meet Käärijä and the dancers, the public decides for someone's career and he's the most loved 💚 A great career is ahead!

Fun fact: Sweden didn't receive any 12 points from televoters in all countries.

Kaarija got 376 points from the public. That is 60 more than MANESKIN. The maximum possible score was 456 points. And he still lost thanks to jury votes. Let that sink in.

The fact that Sweden received 12 points from 15 countries and Finland only from 2 shows how unfair the jury is. It's been like this for years. Remember when Poland received 222 points from the public and 7 points from the jury (2016).

Loreen did a great job, we can't deny that. However, the jury needs to stop manipulating the scores. Not only did they elevate Sweden so high that it was impossible to defeat them even with the maximum number of viewer votes, but they also intentionally underrated some countries, such as Norway and Ukraine, knowing that they would receive a lot of televotes.

Finland, you deserve the 1st place! Public voices say it all! With love from Ukraine. 💙

Why is Sweden always overvalued? All respect and congratulations to Loreen, but it's always them! They can sing anything with any artist they are always appreciated. I feel the same about Italy. Now if the same song were from another country, it wouldn't be so loved.

Finland would've been a hell of a winner. Cool, current, and memorable... all of this while singing in his own language. I'm still shocked by how unanimous Europe's decision was on making him win. Maybe it's time to leave juries at home next year...

The jury wanted an ABBA 50th anniversary celebration in Sweden. It's so obvious in how many countries gave full 12 points to Sweden in an effort to give them an unbeatable lead and succeed they did. I'm not mad that Sweden won, but I'm mad that they won with Loreen singing basically the same song as before, when there were so many more unique and inspiring performances this year to choose from. No way that song deserved so many top spots in the jury vote.

Finland deserved to win... got over 350 votes from public, it's sad the jury votes count so much for the final ranking. After jury votes, the votes should be cut by 50% and then they would start to give the televoting / public votes. Would be much better than this huge cap between Sweeden and everyone else...

why didn't this be done so that when Sweden already has so many wins and Loreen already has 1, we would have allowed the real winner to win, but the next Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden would have been held in honor of ABBA? As a Spaniard I think that Spain should withdraw from Eurovision. If Spain presents an ethnic song, only Portugal values ​​it, if it's presented by Eastern countries, it's different. I really liked Loreen's euphoria in 2012 but tattoo? I don't understand why it got so many points. For me the song is just boring and I think there were definitely some better ones. I really wanted Käärijä to win. CHA CHA CHA was my absolute favorite this year💚🇫🇮. I also can't understand why Serbia is so far behind. The song and the performance were so cool. He really deserved a better placement in my opinion. But I'm so happy that Norway and Israel got such good places. Their songs are amazing!

I love how Hannah handles the crowd, she was so it touch with the mood and had magical powers calming the audience down when needed. She is one of the best hosts we have ever had!

Finland slayed the televote in Finnish. The jury never gave Finland good score and is clearly the public enemy of the Finnish language.

Jury's points were a complete joke, Eurovision could easily be done with only televoting. It's insane how Finland didn't win + Norway got such a low jury score but so high televoting score

So the public vote was never going to determine the winner, it was only ever going to determine how many points Sweden won by. After Sweden got all those jury votes it was already clear that Finland was never going to be able to beat Sweden's combined points even if Finland got the full 432 televotes. The only possible outcomes were Sweden winning, or Israel/Italy performing an impossible feat and getting pretty much the maximum points and winning. Yeah this seems really fair, I don't feel cheated at all

I can't help but think how awesome this year's finale would have been if Finland, the absolute and by far the biggest public favourite had won. Instead we watched a rather awkward moment with Loreen heading to her second victory while, at the same time, the crowd in the arena was shouting "cha cha cha ". I assume that EBU will take into consideration what happened this year and take action because it is quite inconsistent to call for massive participation in the televoting and then show to the public that their vote is pointless against the will of juries. Moreover I think we should also talk about the elephant in the room: it's the second time that Sweden gets the victory thanks to massive jury scores that outvoted the public vote (exact the same scenario took place in 2015). This country get almost always great support from the juries; it seems that they have secured a top ten spot in jury voting no matter what entry they send. In my view something is either fishy or wrong or it's not working as it should. I remember that juries were re-introduced because a bunch of countries was continuously being voted in top places no matter what they were sending. I am sure that EBU wants to safeguard the fairness of the result; therefore, they will take into account the record of the voting system in place.

Spain, Austria, Armenia, Czechia, Australia and somewhat the UK getting such a low score from the public was shocking, like I literally screamed at Spain and Austria results.
