Great video, i just purchased a Lightning Lariat with the 98kw battery pack as a daily driver, but I need to take a rode trip from MI to VA, MS, and GA before returning home to Detroit, MI. My truck doesn’t have the moonroof either, I wondered if it would be worthwhile to document the trucks performance being that it doesn't have the extended range 131kw battery pack. If all goes well I'd probably venture to do other trips, thank you for posting this informative video. I now know to learn the navigation and charger mapping features immediately! Glad you had a great trip!😮

what software are you using to track your charging stops?

Pen and paper using the on-board computer and the SOC % display on the instrument cluster and odometer. Then I put it into Google Sheets later at home. Now that I have 35" tires the odometer/trip computer method will not work anymore because of their diameter. So, I will have to use Google maps to get mileage going forward until I go back to my stock wheels/tires in the Fall.

So in the end, if you are getting close to 20 miles per gallon on a highway trip in the tremmor, you would be spending almost the same amount on fuel for the trip but also a lot less time?

Roughly speaking, yes on this one trip and use case assuming you can get an actual 20 miles per gallon at the speeds I was doing
