Even though his physique looked unimpressive for most of his career, Frans Botha was deceptively fast. His quick 1-2 combination troubled a lot of 90s greats. But alas, he broke down from mid rounds almost every time. He won every single round against Tyson until he walked into that right hand, and he was having similar success against Evander for 4 rounds, before proceeding to get beaten up for every round thereafter.

Was he great, not to me, not with 10 loses, some to less than exceptional fighters. But he was very good, and juiced or not, a tough nut to crack. When you fought Holyfield you had better show up ready to get it on, because he would get in front of you and make you earn it.
